640pm PST... didn't leave a message

Got a call today, just 3 minutes after the guy above me. I'm in Southern California. Caller ID said Gaithersburg MD. They didn't leave a message.

Same call just now.

Just called here, N California.  No message.  Caller ID was "Gaithersburg MD" Looks like a new 'live one'.

Call from an unrecognized number.  I did not answer; no message was left.  Looks like a "new" number the "telephone terrorists" are trying out!  

Called thiry minutes ago.  No message left. Caller ID shows V916222214004042 which I believe is a typical robo calling identifier.

Received call @8:59 p.m. on 9/17/14. Caller ID said it was from Gaithersbg MD

Why do these people even bother? Are they just addicted to annoying people?

Received a call this evening - no message.

called ID listed the # from Gaithersburg, MD, no message left..

Called at 6:40, same info as others reported, no message.

Called and left no message 3rd call this week.

It's bad enough when they call all day long, but when they're calling at night - on my land line that is supposed to ONLY be for elder care emergencies, it is very distressing. I'm so sick of thinking my mother has fallen - why can't these people be stopped? (This was 8:06pm 9/18/14 EST) Can I sue for high blood pressure they are causing me? Emotional trauma? I hate them.

Got a call from them tonight at 8:40 pm.  Didn't answer....yet another number to block!

They have been active apparently.  Just got a call with caller ID Gaitherbg MD that left no message on answering machine.

Same as everyone else.  Unknown call on our home from "GAITHERSBG MD"; no msg. Came in at 8:48pm, which, despite being 'legal' is TOO LATE by our standards. (I was taught one doesn't call anyone after 8PM unless its an emergency OR you have their permission.)  We were out, so that meant it got the chance to ring and ring, alerting them to the fact its a 'live' number.  When I'm home I pick up/hang up at the first or second ring - as soon as I can get to it - to stop the call and 'confuse' the robodialer.  Although, I've noticed lately that unassigned/unused numbers just go to 'dead air' these days.  So, there probably is NO defense against these calls anymore.  Even our BLOCKER lets it ring once.

We got the call at 8:48pm on 9/18/14 (also "GAITHERBG MD").  BUT we ALSO got a call from 303-997-1453, just 41 minutes earlier at 8:07PM, with NO NAME on CID.  Believe they are connected; TROLLING for LIVE numbers to SPAM later.  Possibly based in CHINA as, when you google this number, multiple sites in Chinese come up.

Unfortunately, we were not in to pick up/hung up to break the calls.  Both went to the machine; no msgs.

We got a call from this number yesterday, September 18, at 7:40 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was GAITHERSBG MD. No voice mail message was left. When I called back today I was answered by an automated system which is very sophisticated and made to resemble talking to a real person. The alleged charity is the American Veterans Support Foundation. They have called with this same system from other numbers which we have already blocked with our call blocker. This is probably why they have started using a new number. It will be added to our call blocker.
