Called ID reads, MCS.  I do not answer calls  I do not recognize.  Scammers.

240-318-1466 Clearly and Indian Call Center first used "UNKNOWN" as the first call (Caller ID). Then Called back using this number 240-318-1466, 3 times without speaking. looking for a bad debt (Caller ID: Clinton NJ) - The person they were searching for had a very foreign East Indian name, clearly not the Caucasian they connected to. Sports Authority Illegal use of Predictive dialer - not reporting correct caller ID on their Dialogic cards - clear violation in the "Truth in Telemarketing" Law. Of course Sports Authority will blame the outsourced Call Center, but in fact if this is how they do business, call and hang up. WHY WOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WITH SPORTS AUTHORITY? 240-318-1466

Caller ID said "unknown name". Left a message saying to press one to lower your debt or press 9 to be removed from our list.!  Right... I'm on the Do not call list but nobody cares anymore.  The message repeated itself 4 times.  Female voice, did not sound foreign.

My number was recently hijacked this way. I had to change my number it got so bad. I had a panic attack when I got a call today from this number as the person whose number is hijacked will get call backs from all over the country.
Looks like this type of scam is really ramping up. Be very careful

This is a long running criminal scam to get your credit card information. They keep changing the number they call from. Their spiel is contradictory. First they say this is the only call you will get. Then they say to press 9 to be removed from their calling list. They claim they can reduce your credit card interest to 1.9% (even though all lenders are charging more like 4-5% for secured loans.)

This number called to-day but I didn't answer it.   I figured it was some solicitor.

Had a robo call from this number claiming they were responding to an initiative by "President Obama" (no, seriously) who was calling them to "adjust your mortgage rate". Hung up before they could continue. Sounded sketchy on the phone, reading the other comments makes it obvious they are hunting for information like any other scammer.

I had a call today from MCS and they did not leave a message. I suspect a telemarketer or scammer.

I have got a few calls from that number haven't answered it none of the times. if i dont know who it is i dont answer. After reading these comments Im programming it in my phone under scammers ....
