call came in at 10:37 a.m., 12-19-14.  i did not answer and the calling party
did not leave a message.

Same. No answer... left message tho. Jerks.

I picked up.  Recorded Message said: "This is not a sales call, a friend referred you for a free security system..."  The recorded message did not finish... it ended mid-sentence.  Mostly likely from a Call Center Outbound dialer.  Location: Maryland.

As for the friend referral claim, it's a lie - I work for a security monitoring company.  Any friend of mine would know I do not need a second system.

they left a message, it was a security system offer. And on the message it prompted me to press "two" to be removed from they're  calling list, that's weird..

I got a call from this number and no message was left.
so I called back the number and it says if you wish to be put on a do not call list press 1
so we shall see if that works.

its a shame that they just automatically dial random numbers and say "A friend refered you" or "you filled out a form"
when it is just a marketing scam they use so you believe them and will listen to them

I received the call at 6.43pm. Didn't answer. Called back and it was a automated message asking to press 1 if I wanted to be placed on the do not call list. I blocked it too.

Just received a call today from that number.   No message.  I called it back and it did indeed tell me to press 1 if I want to be placed on their Do Not Call list.  Guess what I did.

Just received a call from this number.  It left no message. But when I called it back it told me to press 1 to be put on their do not call list and that it would take 48 business hours to process my request.  

Recorded Message said: "This is not a sales call, a friend referred you"  So I pushed #1 to find out more info, the Telemarketer would not answer who the Security Company was and hung up! As for the friend referral claim, it's a lie -

Same as all of you.  Call no voice mail.  Called back and it immediately asked if I wanted to be placed on a DNC list.

The press 2 to be plcaed on the DNC is a scam also.  Nothing happens.  I stayed on the line while working at my desk and gave  the guy selling me a hard time for 15 minutes.  I told him everytime he called I would waste 15 minutes of his time AGAIN.

Same as above.a friend referred me for a free security system. Put on blocked call now..they called my cell which is on Dec. .
