This is a DEMAND that you and those you represent STOP, DISCONTINUE, AND NEVER CALL AGAIN the employment location and associated phone numbers of my employee:  Ayanna Nahmias.

You previously have been requested to cease calling at Ms. Nahmias' place of employment harassing her at work and interfering with the work of others at this location.

By this message, I am further requesting that you DO NOT contact or continuing calling for Ms. Nahmias at her place of employment or at ANY related phone numbers trying to contact this employee.

This request has been made repeatedly for you to cease and desist from harassing Ms. Nahmias and disrupting her work and that of other workers.  The phone numbers you continue to call are for the exclusive use of the District of Columbia Government and the Mayor's Call Center for emergency needs and for the conduct of business by the DC Government.

Tony Sharp has repeatedly called MY PARENTS HOME.  I do not live there.  He has NEVER called me directly at the correct number.  I have been unable to reach him. He is supposedly trying to collect some form of debt... that of which I am unaware of.

This Toni Sharp has called my home while I don't live there. I don't know who the hell he is and I am not interested in knowing that. DO NOT CALL MY NUMBERS WHETHER AT HOME OR ANY WHERE ELSE. OK!

Not identifying who they are.

This number called and stated this is for legal purposes only and for identification reasons please verify only my last 4 digits of my social. I informed this man, that I will not and I disconnected the call. Scammers!!!

If you call that number they DO NOT ID themselves, just give a blurb about collecting a debt, then they refer you to this Tony Sharp persona.  "Sharp" claims he words for something called "FCO"  .  No idea what that is and the guy won't give you any more information.  Google search shows some sort of  scamming operation.

In any event,

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

Note that the US Supreme Court in the Case of HENSON ET AL. v. SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC., has recently ruled that the provisions of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act do not apply if the creditor owns the debt in question.  As a practical matter this probably won't effect the kinds of scam debt collectors who often show up on 800notes.  The scam collectors don't give you any information about themselves so it is impossible to know whether or not they in fact "own" the debt in question.  Most do not send debt validation letters and many often say they are collecting for someone else.  So, make the complaint anyway if they are bothering you.  Let the FTC sort it out.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.

Tony called and asked for my last 4 social, I refused to provide. He asked for DOB, I refused to provide. I told him that it is a scam call because I dont have a debt.

I received a message from his phone number. When I tried to call back I got a recorded message about a phone service id.

Calls everyday. Don’t know who it is. Never leaves a message. Doesn’t identify himself. When I call back, does not use identification.
