Political robocall for DAN PATLAK -- an Illinois Republican who is running for the Cook County Board of Review (District 1).  You can call the number back and press "1" to be added to their do not call list.  You have to do this even if you are on the government's do not call list because political calls (sadly) are allowed.  I cannot wait until this election is over so that all the robocalls and attack ads STOP!

After the first robocall (on October 22) I called the number back and 'asked' (electronically) to be added to their do not call list.  Subsequently I received two more robocalls the next day (albeit for another Republican candidate in Illinois).  After each of these new calls, I called back and again 'asked' to be added to their do not call list.  We'll see if my requests stick.  What these politicians fail to understand is that I do not want to be bothered with all these robocalls!!!

I got the same call. I called it back and pressed "1".  It was to take me off the call list. they then asked if I wanted to be moved to the "do not call list".  I said yes...I want to see if it works...

I've responded to these calls at least 3 times with a do not call response.  The stupidity of the continued calls....Does anyone know how to get through to a real person at this number or who the organization is?
And yes, I am on the national do not call list.........%@#@#@#@#@..

These Republican robocalls must STOP!  I called 240-556-9952 several times and followed their directions to be placed on their do not call list, and yet they continue to harass me!  The latest call was received on 10/29/2010 at 3:22 p.m.  It was a robocall (from Rudy Giuliani!!!) asking me to vote for a Republican candidate (Joel Pollak) who is running to represent Illinois' 9th Congressional District.  I'm not even in the 9th District!!!  Stupid, stupid people.  I will now report them to the government's do not call list because they won't stop bothering me!

It's probably a national Republican organization -- and they're not even targeting the right people for the candidates they're asking you to vote for!  Of the three candidates who I've been "asked" to vote for by these repeated robocalls, I can only vote for one.  Will I?  Probably not because they're ticking me off!

I called the communications director of the last candidate whose robocall I received yesterday and very politely asked him to contact these people in Maryland (or wherever they are if the number is a spoof) and tell them to STOP!  I also reported the number to the government's do not call list.  Political calls are "legal" but I think they need to put you on their do not call list when you call them back and ask them to do so multiple times.

I cannot stand robocalls and negative campaign ads!!!  Tuesday cannot get here quickly enough for the madness to stop!!!

Actually it was Rudy Guiliani asking for my vote for Republican candidate JOEL POLLAK who is running to represent Illinois' 9th Congressional District (which I'm not in).  I hate robocalls!!!
