i just got a call from this number, too.  i picked it up but no one was there.

Just got a call frrom tis number had no idea where it from from being hat it had a 240 area code and im from new york.  found out i was verizon .....bunch of idiots.....

I agreed to a verizon survey- but assumed it would follow my current call- after i agreed, they said they'd call me back- by choosing the call back on my cell phone- the instructions were that if the call was later than 9pm then would call me after 9am in the morning on the next business day-- the nighttime/weekend 'free' airtime-- I was mislead and am refusing to pick up on principal because they're forcing me to use their paid airtime-- just another way to get more money!

I ignored....I am so sick of Verizon and cannot wait until my contract is up.  They are just sorry and their customer service is the most unprofessional reps that they could have hired.  Would not recommend them to my worse enemy.

Got a call too from 240-568-2199.  Never heard it ring, just a missed call, no message.

yea i JUST changed my number TWO MINUTES AGO and it rang with this number, and now  a voicemail (as im typing this msg) so i know its verizon and their little survey. i changed it so i wouldnt get any more bs calls from 'debt collectors" and they just wanted to make sure it worked. no harm done.

It was verizon wireless customer service. They were calling me in regard to a question I asked over the internet. I didn't know the number, so I didn't answer, they left a message and were very nice. Answered the question I asked and asked me to call them back if I had any further questions, saying they would e-mail me their response as well. I love VZW customer service, I always find them helpful and pleasant to deal with....so glad this is the wireless company I use.

Verizon wireless responding to a question I asked regarding my account via the web.

This number seems to be a general telemarketing number for Verizon.  They claim various titles and these COULD be legitimate, but since they never have been able to resolve anything it is unlikely.  I got a call from someone today using this number claiming to be from "the Executive Offices" but there is no way of verifying this.  They didn't leave an extension.  We had a 30 minute call and there are NO notes in the file so there is no way to reach them again.

They were unable to do anything other that tell us to wait to have our dispute resolved.

THis number is so called executive offices..it's just customer service reps fronting.

Keeps calling several times a day, usually no message, except today when the agent said the Maryland AG was interested in my case. No idea what that is about. Called back, told them to stop calling, as I have a payment set up already. They will still keep calling.

The number in question 240-568-2192 is The Md area manager Brian Ranck. I have been locked in Verizon hell with 6 replacements, same phone, same problem. I can wait till my contract is over in Dec. I would rather pay more than deal with this company. They love to upgrade you and lock you into another contract. Now they are raising the warranty cost because they say they have had to many return and lost phones, Wonder why!
