Some kind of spam/scam call.  I picked up and there was nothing but silence so I hung up on them.

As soon as I answered call, a recorded type message said "goodbye".

Caller IDed as Upper Marlboro, I didn't answer and left no message.

I called number back and got automated msg. as a customer service company. On their call menu, it had #2-Do not call option which I selected.  It is someone calling from a home phone in Upper Marlboro soliciting home services.

The ID had V followed by 14 numbers. I didn't answer and blocked it.

Called home phone this morning at 10:00 AM.  Same caller ID, UPPER MARLBORO, MD.  I picked up as I take a certain joy in asking to be removed from call lists.  Caller identified himself as some sort of home improvement company.  When I asked, nicely, to not be called again, guy said he couldn't do that and that he WOULD call again and hung up on me.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list, but we all know that makes little difference.  Filing a complaint online with the FCC.

Called my unlisted number a short while ago; no message left.  I never pick up for a number I don't recognize.  (I used to be able to leave the ringer on all the time, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that I can no longer do so.  Either my number leaked, or they're getting me via random dialing.)

I also have to wonder why some people DO pick up.  Asking to be removed from a call list is largely futile.  Citing the Do Not Call list is certainly futile with these criminals.

Some heavy accent man from a home  improvement company. Wanted to clean all my heat ducts   I kept saying too much money he kept dropping the price. What a dumb [***]  never intended to give the jerk any credit card info. Dumb [***]

CID was Upper Marlboro MD. Didn't leave message, was blocked by No Mo Robo.

First call, from this obvious scammer, received on my landline, on 1/4/16, at 12:15PM, EST.  Just as the others have reported, the CID was "Upper Marlbo MD" (spelling?).  I didn't answer and no message was left.  This blog is fantastic for information.

Just rece'd a call from a man who doesnt know how to speak english nor read it.   Asked if this was Mrs. Thomas (wrong, not my last name), gave street name incorrectly (another wrong), told me I had used there serv a few years ago which was completely wrong when I asked where he got all this information!  Said we need to setup a time for this cleaning serv of heat ducts etc which I have electric heat so no ducts in my house.   Also they would clean dryer vent too, LOL   I told him to take me off his FAKE list & never to call again.   Then I proceeded to hang up & called back to be REMOVED from there call list!  I wonder how many people they have on it by now?   lol

Folks any legit repair company will have caller ID and use the do not call list.  These are all scammers to clearly separate you from your money!.  They usually want a credit card upfront, first clue.  Don't have any info on you and it's all guessed as they bought the number from another scammer 2 seconds before hand, Second clue.  I suggest if the number comes up with just a city and state is to do not answer or get a call zapper.

Using VOIP to spoof Maryland CID ,actually call from overseas with address of V11310361300111 etc.

Caller ID says Upper MarlboMD and above number. ( I am on National Do not call list.)
Will not call back.

Checked my messages could hear TV and in background some guy moaning other person on the phone giggling  caller ID says upper Marlboro MD

Keeps calling when I answer no one speaks, then when I do answer silence (STUPID person). What's with the V1143351000061 on top of the phone number? CROOKS!!!!!!!

Left no message. Looked up # here.  Now blocked
