A scammer on Craigslist

Same person tried to do it to me, on Craigslist, in FL, selling a car.

Mandy, what did they do to you?  What name did they give?  Did they email you?

SCAMMER!!! tried selling me an '01 silverado for $2700.  said she lived in mattoon, illinois, and her name was "melissa hutson" i still have all the emails. i could tell by her accent her name wasnt melissa, and i mean that in the most non-racist way possible.. ppl need to find better things to do with their lives.

Melissa Hutson almost got me too...Her AD started on Craigslist.. Yep, going through a divorce had 2 kids..If she didn't sell the truck, she was going to loose her house...The next day she emailed me and now we had to go through ebay...It was allll FAKE...I had to get a money gram and send it to, Tommy Donovan in California...I had a funny feeling about the money gram..Melissa called me and asked if I had the money gram and I said no...Melissa said, well I have another buyer and didn't even allow us to test drive the truck..Melissa blocked me from calling her phone...The funny thing is, those were dealer pic's of the truck...Tommy isn't real & the live chat was fake to, I asked the live help who do U work for?? They disconnected the live chat...Melissa's area code wasn't Mattoon Ill it was Maryland...I have the vin number on the truck and I'm filing a claim against her...The address for Tommy in California, that house is for sale...

Yep... Almost got my wife and I. Said she was from Greenville Mi. Divorced... 2 kids. This time she was going by Amber Johnson. I called and that didnt sound like any Amber I've ever talked to. Heavy accent. I told her I was born in Michigan and asked what towns were close to Greenville and she said "Greenville.... is a... big town... " then hung up. I thought that was fishy so I did a people search on amber in greenville and a scam alert came up. Sucks.. Really wanted that truck!
