I got 2 calls from this number this afternoon. Left staticky unintelligible messages.

Three calls this afternoon, about an hour apart each time.  Didn't answer, of course.  They left no message.

Caller ID:  Hyattsville MD. So far, three hourly calls this afternoon and doesn't leave a message.

Please do not call.  Keeps calling.  No message left.

Calls hourly. No message. Really annoying. This happens daily.

Called this number back and an automated message came on stating that it is a political call. To inform you of issues in your area and state. Very annoying as I get calls from this number at least 8 times a day. Also be on the look out for this number too 240-014-4141 this one just started up right after the other calls stopped.  Unfortunately that number does not work when you call it back.

4 calls yesterday, so far only one today. No message. CID says Hyattsville, MD. I'm also in MD, and we have a primary coming up, so it may be political.

Call came from a David Trone representative who wanted to talk about political issues. I told him I didn't want to talk about them.  They called back again tonite. I didn't answer.

Whoever owns this number calls my cell phone, but there is no one there and no recording. When I call it back it has this HIGHLY DUBIOUS message, "If you are calling this number you have just received a political call.  All calls of this nature are exempt from all state and federal do not call lists. Our intention in delivering these calls is to keep you informed of local, state and federal issues that directly effect you."

HUGE WASTE OF TIME!!!!  And they're probably spending my hard earned tax dollars to waste my time too.

This should be illegal. It doesn't say who the 'political call' is from or provide any information about how I got placed on their call list.

Calls constantly even though it is blocked. Do no answer. Probable scam.

Get a call blocker from some place like Amazon.

If you are a registered voter, they obtained your number from there. Campaigns are permitted access to those lists for purposes of soliciting your vote for their candidate. The calls are paid for by the candidate's election committee, not by tax dollars.  They should maintain an internal Do Not Call list but may not. In any event, the primary in MD is April 26th and calls should stop after that unless the candidate behind this call makes it to the general election in November.

We should all pledge not to vote for politicians that do not honor the do not call list.
