Man (sounds like Asian) said he is in NY wanted to let us know they had received a message from our computer ...something about threat levels. My husband seemed to enjoy telling him he was a scammer.  Same here on trying to call the number. Googled the phone # and it said it's a land line in MD.

Called to tell me that he was with Microsoft technical support (had a think Hindi accent).  Said something about they had received notice that my computers had been hacked and that several Trojans were installed on my computer. Became confrontational when questioned about call back number and the like.  Tried to get me to go to LMI1 site.  I'm sure to download some remote access software to hack me himself.  Told him where to stick it.  Total scam.

Some chump with an accent called me talking about I had a problem with Windows.  I asked him "do you know who you're speaking to".  He kept telling me I had a problem with Windows.  I told him he had 5 seconds to confirm my identity.  On the 6th second, I hung up.....

Caller sounded Indian...said he needed me to go immediately to my computer so he could help me with a computer problem. I asked him again who he was...he said he was with Microsoft and had gotten an error message from my computer and he needed me to sit down at the computer so he could access it. I said "No, I don't know who you are." He said, "Don't you want your computer fixed." I reiterated, "No, thank you" and hung up.

This guy from India called me this morning. Same as previous posts....Microsoft tech, needs to access my computer...I said everything is fine, he said all personal info good get out if not fixed. I told him it was a public computer and there was no personal info on it...So, he hung up. Next time i might mess with him and ask him if i can just send him money through paypal, and see if he wants my SS# too.

Called me today with the latest computer scam. My friend just was sucked into this scam where they got here to give access to her computer and bill her hundreds of dollars for protection. I listened long enough to know which scam was being pulled. They will tell you they are with microsoft but of course they are not!  I hung up on them. Blocking number in case they try to harass me but knowing they might have other numbers to call on if they desire.
