Spammer call. Credit card company trying to get you to switch credit cards and want personal info. This company switches numbers often, and use an automated dialer. With a recorded message about credit interest dropping on your existing cards. Completely a scam. Just hang up as soon as you don't here someone on the other end, and then block number or add to phones reject list.

got a call at 8:30 a.m.Dec. 11, 2015 on my cell phone, which is on a DNC List. Did not answer it. I HATE SCAMMERS.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. No one left a message. Assuming it was a scammer.

some kind of scam from credit people. don't eave a message but just keep calling.  I am listed on the DO NOT CALL LIST and cannot understand how they can keep calling me on my cell phone.  How do I need to get this stopped?

Received call from an automated message--this happens a lot, I get calls for the person who previously had my phone number, so I decided to talk to a real person to make sure they weren't calling for the previous owner, and after several times of me asking, "and what company are you calling from," and not getting an answer, finally I asked the man "with whom do you think you're speaking? What name do you have on file?"...He promptly hung up, and when I tried to call the number back, it's apparently "not a working number."

Obviously someone calling from a real "card services company" would at least take the time to tell you WHO THEY ARE. Ridiculous. I really want to know who this is so I can call them and harass them, but maybe that's too much to hope for. It's just irritating they hung up on me. Oh well!

Received call @ 12:08p on 11 Dec, w/ phone showing it was from Rockville Maryland; didn't answer.  No message. FYI:  my area code is in Ohio.

Just got a call, Rockville MD. Didn't answer. Blocking number anyway.

Just received a call from this number and when I called back the number was out of service-- definitely spam.

I asked to be removed from their calling list. Gentleman responded - "how old are you?" I then stated, I do not wish to share my information, please remove me from your list. Gentleman then states "[***] you, you heard that?". SCAM.

Received 2 calls in a row to my cell phone, no message.

When I told him I was on the DNC list and that I was forwarding this number to my attorney and the FCC for follow-up, he cursed at me and then hung up.

I've heard that DoNotCall sells number lists to people that they assume are legitimate sales people.  Must be true...

I don't think that's the case. These are scammers who don't give a rat's patootie about the Do Not Call list. This is particularly true of those from India and Pakistan.

think its a phishing scam. robo recorded call. says "sarah from consumer services, this is about your credit card" i immediately hung up. they call me several times a week if not more. since i am on both national and FL DNC, these folks are likely an off-shore boiler room (like the dominican republic) that can evade the DNC enforcement

They have called twice from 2 different numbers. Not even calling my number but calling a relatives cell asking to speak with me. They are saying my credit card was declined for a purchase. This place is an unprofessional joke.

same as above. not having been the first of these calls, i tried to get through to the guy by seeming like i was interested so i played along. Guy barely spoke English, the second i asked to be removed from the call (like its my damn right to!) list he hung up on me. i tired to call the number back, it said the wireless customer you are trying to reach cannot be located. how the hell do they get away with this?

Btw I called the number back and it doesn't work.  It's a scam, spam, joke for sure. It's like they downloaded the magic jack app on a cell and using it to scam people. Those apps work just like this. Not being able to call it back.
