    Called them back and said "I want to know why you are calling me." He said "This is Jeff Stewart calling for the American Veterans Foundation..." I hung up.

    Called at 2:50pm, Jeff Stewart, media professionally sounding voice. I hung up . . . as soon as I heard the I'm calling for Veterans' s  . .  . .they have tried me before. I am on the do not call list.

    I receive calls from this number continually and I have an unlisted number.  They don't leave a message.  Don't know if it's really the Veterans Foundation calling, but unfortunately the Do-Not-Call registry does not ban non-profit organizations.  Even if they are legit...why would anyone donate or give their personal information over the phone?

    I received another call on 11/21 at 4:02 PM.  Caller ID read "Maryland Call."  No message was left.  I agree with "Bob."  Never give money over the phone unless you are absolutely sure you know whom you are dealing with.  Craig's List encourages its users to only do business locally.
