Missed call at 6:18 AM in Trinidad & Tobago. Returned call but no answer, some strange background noise.

I am in trinidad & tobago, and i got missed call from this number 12431230294, called it back, and a lady named Reesa answered, she said she she wanted to be my friend and to get to know me better, so i told her jus now and to call me back in ten minutes, she said ok I call you back, and I hung up. She never called back, I still waiting on her, lol.

Someone called me too this morning from number +2431230294 at 6:33 AM . Didn't reply. Called back a bit later and there was someon in the other end but didn't understand [***]. Hopefully this is not such a case where answering to this number or calling them up costs A LOT..

I received a missed call from this number at 7:18 am this morning, fortunately when I was out of the room.  I too am in Trinidad and Tobago.

Having read the above emails I wonder if this is some sort of scam premised upon persuading the recipient of the call to call back.  In any event I am glad I googled the number, so I know not to return the call.

hi i too got a call from this number and it is isn't the first i missed the first two calls but on the third i answered it and no one said anything. I am from Trinidad and Tobago too... What is this about? if anyones knows please respond...

i'm from trinidad and tobago as well. missed a call from this number at 11:21 pm last night. strange stuff...the 243 country code is for zaire!

I also am from Trinidad and Tobago and received a call from this number, I missed the call as I was in a class and googled it. I'm glad I did and was able to view this information

I guess you are right, it will cost a lot. I had a call from this number as well, pic up but no one was there. I didn't call back, I guess will cost a lot.

One of my friends received few missed calls from this 2431230294 number on 19/9/09 around midday Sri Lanka time my friend and I both tried calling the number. female mumbled something on the line which neither of us understood, and I felt that it was a scam at the time and later found out that it has cost US$ 2 for 31 seconds.....

yeah I in TnT that number just rang my mobile and someone hung up. I always look up strange international numbers before calling back. Glad i didn't call !

I am in Trinidad and have a missed call from this number. No voicemail. I never call back missed calls that dont leave voicemail. IT could be a scam.

Same thing happened to me i'm from trinidad and tobago and this number called me at 8:35 pm i missed the call and upon returning it there was no ring and a female answered it. I could barely understand what she was saying sounded like a spanish accent if i'm mistaken then i heard her said she wants to be my friend so i hung up after that! Somebody needs to find out who and what is this all about!
