Received call at 1:40pm w/female automated voice stating "thank you for all you've done today and all the days before. You are truly loved.  Your Friend
I recalled the number and it was not a working number so, I am now waiting to  see if there are any "bad consequences" to this..It was nice to hear, but, at this time, being kind sometimes  isn't want it appears. Waiting for

Got a call saying "I'm calling to thank you for all you've done today and all the days before.  You are truly loved.  Thank you from your friend."

Does Anyone know what this is all about and has anyone had any problems on their bills, etc as a result?

I received the same, random phone call at 5:30 pm, Central Standard Time, and I, too, could not reach anyone when I called the number back.  I live in Houston, TX, just for tracking purposes.

I got the same call in Houston at 5:24pm CST...I looked up area code 247 and could not find one listed.

My father just got the call in Houston as well.

12-29  @ 6:55 pm received a call from 247-478-6277 with same message; any suggestions on how to find out the caller I.D.

I got the same call today (12/29) at 6:40 pm - same number, same message, and I also live in Houston. Weird

I got the same message at 4:27 p.m., in Houston... mysterious.

I just received the "thank you for all you have done" call at 10:54 AM CST.  I am also in Houston, Texas.  It was a recorded female voice and the message ended with, "thank you, your friend."  I hope this isn't something weird coming in from a foreign country and we're going to end up with a monstrous phone bill or something like that.  Has anyone reported this to their phone company?  I am going to do so now.

Received same call at 12:20 p.m.

Received the same nice message a few minutes ago.  Did a reverse check on the area code and came up blank.  Used 247 to search for country code and came up with Ascension Islands.  Searched Ascension Islands and found this:

I live in The Woodlands which is just north of Houston and received the same call around 12:20 p.m.  Has anyone found out what this is about?

area code 247 is Wisconsin.

I don't know what these calls are though.

If you take the numbers and assign the letters to them the phone number spells out "Christmass"  Oooh!
