- Concerned in TX| 2 repliesHave received calls from this number at the same time for the past 2 days. Haven't answered because I know this isn't a U.S. Area code. Look up says it's the Ascension Islands...
- c baker| 6 repliesThis is a computer scam and they will try to get you to grant access to your computer by going to DOS and entering what they tell you to. I hung up on them and now they just call periodically to harrass me and call me names. I called the phone company and asked if there was a way to complain. They said I needed to report it to the police. The local police department just laughed at me and refused to do anything. I live in a small town.
- Jim B.Tried to have me to let him have access to my pc. SCAM!!!

- J| 1 replyThis call came in at 8:54 a.m. this morning. Please note: Foreign male claiming to be from Windows Support. (Microsoft does NOT call people, folks. These scammers are just trying to talk you into giving them access to your computer. Then they won't give access back to you unless you send them money. Fact!)
This is not the first time I have received a call from this group, apparently using different phone numbers. It's always been a male using a foreign accent. I told him that today is a least the third time I have told them not to call here, that it is a scam and has been all over the news. I also told him to take my number off their calling list. We'll see.
By the way, for those who don't know, there is a way to report these people. Go to the National Do Not Call Register page and look for the link to file a complaint through another web site.- Caller: NAME NOT FOUND displayed on digital screen
- searaiunknown caller called at 8:54 a.m. but thanks to caller ID, we don't answer.
- REMYCaller ID "Name Unavailabl" ... June 1 at 1:24pm Eastern time. This call ended after one ring. It may have been blocked by a free service I subscribe to which is available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.
- EdReceived a call from this number. When I stated this was a business line - the caller went on a profanity filled rant.

He hung up on me! LOL......BEAWARE BE PREPARED!
- MdiverYep fake Microsoft scam artists. They have called me several times. usually a guy with a heavy Indian accent. I give them jazz and tell them I'm onto their game. They first try to deny it and I tell them I called Microsoft and spoke to a real representative that told me Microsoft does not call people. My sister fell for this scam and got her PC FUBAR. Just tell them to go directly to Hell.
- Caller: Microsoft Scam
- Call type: Prank
- BobThis is a scam. I fell for it only because I was expecting a call from Microsoft Support. The guy said my Windows Firewall was expired and he uninstalled it without asking me first. Then he wanted money to reinstall the Firewall. I told him I was not paying. I think he locked up my computer for 2 hours. He got really pissed because I accused him of scamming me. I don't really he did anything to my computer. He was just trying to get money. I had a feeling he was scamming me because he would not address the Windows Update problem I was having. I don't usually answer the phone when this number comes up. If it was legit he would have left a message on my answering machine.
- ANonieMouseI got this message in my youtube account from someone named "Al:"

- Malcolm| 2 repliesI get the call all time about a corrupted PC-that I do not have by the way-I have made a game of how long I can play stupid and have them describe the keys I need to hit. I kept one guy on for about 25 minutes playing stupid.
I usually then tell them I either don't have a computer that works or when they ask what I see on the screen I go on and on until they get so frustrated.- Caller: SCAM on Microsoft
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Kountry34 replies to c bakerThose [***] called me up and told me that I had a hacker on my computer and I really did I sent them something pretty through a notepad for them to hack some more hope they got what they got and learnt their lesson Im a computer tech myself and they might of found out not to mess with me I know things they only dream about. If it did what I think it did I hope they got their lesson.
- Kountry34 replies to Concerned in TX| 1 replyIf you got a call from them they are someone on the other side looking at whatever your doing if your computer goes crazy you need to shut it down and installed malwarebytes from filehippo official site and remove them off of it whatever your doing they have remote access over your computer and they are stareing at everything you are doing they got what they got from me and I bet they didnt like it watching me open my notepad up talking to them because they only had about 30 seconds at the most to stare at it and bye bye they went i eat them off my computer they took control over it and I didnt give them no access at all they forcefully hacked their way through my security how they got my number I couldnt figure that one out I guess they been snooping around through email databases from other companies I do bussiness with one thing I really hate is a hacker they are toying with the wrong guy here. I know things that makes a hackers world a living nightmare when it comes down too it I got the right to protect my property if they viewed what I typed they got what was coming too them. Remote access someone can see what you are doing on your own computer doesn't matter if you are on webcam they can steal passwords information all the rest above they was only toying with mine through malware somehow. Took control over it. They was watching my every move and I knew it whatever I clicked on they was watching and whatever the sender sends it pops up on their screen and I bet 100% they didnt like what they recieved through a notepad what i typed too them and it popped up on their screen and fried their fun.. And they didn't like it after I got done i went through cmd to see if they was any hackers on it established through my ports they wasn't no one left on it all ports were listening none were established. Im not no toy boy when it comes to computers I do not bother no one but I do protect my property if they never called I wouldn't never known that is where they messed up at saying they are a hacker on your computer they was the one that put it there. When a hacker does something to my computer he/she is toying with the wrong boy toy. I despise them. And I will put them out of commission. I have all legal rights to protect my own property when someone is tampering with it without my permission and they force themselves through my online securities.
- Not Born YesterdayI got this call and played along. I acted all upset that my computer was having problems, and the guy acted all excited that he had a sucker on the line. I asked him if he could please help me access everything on my computer to fix the problem and then steal all my information. He slipped and said yes. Bahahahahha!!!
- Don't Mess with me I bite backThis is a scam! A guy claiming to be from Micrsoft with an accent was rude. Called me a f******* B**** after telling him to remove my number from their list. He said No will not remove you. Not a very happy person getting calls at 8:30 on a Saturday morning.
- Uhoh| 1 replyUpon answering the foreign microsoft tech support, I tell them yes, please help me fix this computer. They read the commands to type in, then ask what I see. I say, "I see you. You are short, have dark hair. . . ". They ask if this is fbi. "Might be," I reply. Fun with telemarketers.
- Uhoh replies to UhohOf course, my computer is not on, and I do not actually type anything. Just a clarification for those wishing to use this method of dealing with scammers.
