I received a call from this number this evening at 6:02PM.  Caller ID indicated Michigan Call and I did not answer it because I get a number of unwanted calls from Michigan.  I was surprised when I looked up the number on 800notes and found no previous complaints had been recorded.  My answering machine picked up the call.  Though there was no one who left a message, I could hear a lot of low volume humans jabbering in the background for several seconds after the answering machine has started recording.  This left no doubt in my mind that the call was from a telemarketing environment where many people are in the same room all making harassing phone calls to innocent people.

These people call all the time. We now simply pick up and hang up within a second or two.

I have had 3 calls already this morning and no one answers when I talk. They just hang up. Do they get paid so much for every call they make and if so who do we call to stop this?

Getting it for last 3 months. Don't know how to stop it.

The GOVERMENT'S No Call list is a joke.

It has been turned into a joke by crooks that claim to be legit.

I keep getting calls from this number, the caller ID usually says "Michigan call" this time it said "Oxford" These are nothing but dumbass Telemarketers!!!!!  I just let it go to voicamail or pick up and hang up!

Got a call from this number at 12:41 today. Being it was Sunday and lunch time I did not answer figured it was from a blankety blank telemarketer. Don't answer Sunday calls from unknown and really not any other time either.

Lady said it was for trips & stuff for kids with cancer & other illnesses.  I started getting tons of calls the day I filled out a form on the internet to find cheaper auto insurance.  I will never put my phone # down again for such a thing.  I have been getting at least a dozen calls a day from everywhere & everything.

I was also told for children too. But asked for a different first name that doesn't exist in our family.

Recieved a call SUNDAY evening at 5:45 from this number . Do not answer any sell calls on Sunday or any other day. They called again this morning at 10:55 and I still did not answer. Use to pick phone up and then hang up right away but stopped that as I figure maybe they get paid if we just pick the receiver up so now I just let the phone ring. Call says it is coming from Oxford.

None, answering machine had no message, but they called 4 times in an hour.

I picked up the one call to tell them to stop and was put on hold!

I just got a call from this number and I waited a few minutes and called it back.  I got a recording saying that it was for a charitable company and that it was exempt from the do not call registry.  But, they did give me the option to have my number removed from their calling list.  I had to press 1 and then enter my phone number.  Then I got the message that my number was removed from their list.  We'll see how this goes.

If you have caller ID don't pick up any ID you do not recognize - if anyone wants to contact you they will leave a message.

These types of calls can record if someone answers and they will keep calling for sure.

Register your phone number with the National Do Not Call List: https://www.donotcall.gov/ - at least they keep track of these numbers.

If you should get a message that asks you to press any key - DO NOT - that confirms your number.
