Text message. How dare they! Claim it is an urgent message.

I just got a text saying to call this same number...  saying it is my bank..  I am scared to call it.

I received a tex from 401406@verons.net telling me that it was urgent I call about my B ofA account. I called the number and a recording said there was a problem with my Wells Fargo debit card. It asked for my social security number. I entered all 0's. the next prompt asked me for my debit card number. I entered all 0's, but it claimed I entered an invalid debit card number. It is a scam. And they aren't smart enough to match up the bank on the text message and the recording. Idiots.

Same thing called me and told me my bank account is limited press 1 to activate account. I called it.. Hope they don't hack me

I rec,d a text 25 min ago says "Wells Fargo--Important Notification.  Call: 248-556-7029."  I have not called .back.  I do not do business with Wells Fargo.

Both my husband and I receive text messages within 5 minutes of each other. Since I know what Wells Fargo text messages should look like, I knew it was fraudulent right away. Anyone that calls back the number, they want to keep an eye on your phone bill. sometimes you will end up with charges on your phone bill when you call the numbers back.

Got the same text msg, called Wells Fargo customer service to report it.  They verified it was a scam and forwarded the phone number to their security dept.

Got a text message saying (WF Bank) Urgent Notification.  Please call 248 556 7029.
I don't do business with a bank that would text me.
