Hung up when I answered.

Called 10:48 AM, hung up on ans. machine. Caller ID was the same #. Anywho.com lists it as land line in Royal Oak, MI.

Got two calls today. This has been a continuing problem. We are on the National and Colorado "Do Not Lists" but still can't get this stopped.

We've been getting calls from this number recently.  As with others here, the caller has not left a message and doesn't seem to call when we are at home.

This appears to be a telemarketing agency calling on behalf of "Kids Wish Network".

I am on the national and Colorado "do not call" lists, but have been pestered by calls from this number and also 248-581-7970.  Both numbers show up as "MICHIGAN" on my caller ID.  They never leave a message.  When I try to call them back to ask them to stop calling me, I can never get through.  I either get a busy signal or a message saying that "all circuits are busy".

Last night I answered a call from the 248-581-7970 number.  A woman stated that she was calling on behalf of the "Children's Wish Foundation" (or, I thought that was what she said but I'm not sure since she said it quickly and I was annoyed and not paying much attention).  She asked me "how are you doing tonight?" and I started saying "actually, I'm really busy ..." and was just about to ask her to put me on their "do not call list" when she abruptly blurted out "that's why we ask!" and hung up on me.

They called again tonight using the 248-581-7969 number.  I answered and definitely caught the name this time.  The telemarketer said that she was calling on behalf of the "Kids Wish Network".  I am guessing from her wording ("calling on behalf of") and their skill at thwarting requests to be put on their "do not call list" (and/or their impatience to spend any time talking to anyone that is not responding positively), that her company is most likely a professional telemarketing agency that is taking a big chunk of each contribution (if they are actually working for a non-profit at all).

This time around I said "please put me on your do not call list" immediately in response to her "how are you doing?" query.  She just hung up without saying anything, but I know she heard me.

I have had this call on my phone many times, I answer and they hang. No one speaks, nothing.

My experience has been the same as others:  either hang up or no messages.

Thank you for providing this service.  At least I can try to block it.

just got a call from 7969. Caller ID showd "Michigan". Kind of noisy in the background, other people talking. Woman caller just said "do you have a cat?", no hello, no identification, nothing. I just said "do you?"  She just sat there for a few seconds and hung up.
