Just static

The person called and asked questions in reference to the company. She stated that she was from the Chamber of Commerce.  Left know name and hung up.  Please block this number from our line if possible.

Lady called and said she was updating her address list.  I asked who is calling.  She said "The Chamber of Commerce".  I asked which Chamber of Commerce and she said "The American Chamber of Commerce".  I said that I never heard of the American Chamber of Commerce.  Then I asked where she was calling from and she hung up.  There is no American Chamber of Commerce that I know of.

I received call from 248-598-7009. No message left. Tried to call back just to see who it was and they hang up every time.

Same as above. Called as Chamber of Commerce. I asked them which chamber of commerce, they stated American Chamber of Commerce. Caller id says the call is from Auburn Hills, MI. The call was definitely a call center. Person had an Indian accent. Was phishing for information, trying to confirm business information. Called twice today. First time was dead air. Second call was a person after a short delay. Reported to FCC.

I received a call from 248-598-7009.  The person asked for my address.  I asked who was speaking.  She stated she was with the Chamber of Commerce.  I asked which one.  She stated the American Chamber of Commerce.  I hung up.

They asked for my tax id # and bank information.  FRAUDSTER

Same exact thing happened to me this afternoon.

These people are not telling who they really are. This number is related to a scam.

Girl asked if this was (insert my company name). I said yes. She asked if I was still in Boyne City. I told her no, we were Petoskey. She said Where? I said Petoskey. She hung up. Caller ID says Michigan Call. Clearly it's a solicitor working off an outdated contact list since my company moved seven years ago and she was unaware of it.

Person called asked if this was my company I said yes then they ask for manager name and I told them they ask if I still had 18 employees I said no they hung up since we are a public business we freely give information to our company

They've called 3 times today. Nothing but static when I answer. Caller ID says MICHIGAN CALL
