Just got a call from 248-630-4335 , a Michigan number, on my cell phone and did not answer. Rob left a message about making money using voicemail (or something like that). He stated to call him back at the same number for more information.

Received call from this number on home line 8/3/10 at l:10PM; recorded voice started talking about making money; caller ID said Pontiac.   I am on the 'do not call' list ....

Rec'd 08.10.10 4:24PM ... from 248-630-4335; like the messages before, Rob? left a voice-mail pitching a money making opportunity;

Called, left a recording on my recorder, very poor quality I might add, offering a vague money making opportunity.

Im on the do not call list for a reason

A guy named Rob says you can make money from your phone. $2 to $5000 per month.

My question is - how can we get personal information about this piece of sh** spammer (scammer) and fight back?  I registerd a complaint with www.donotcall.gov and my cell # is on the "do not call" list.  Any ideas?

Telemarketing call on my "do not call" cell....second time...think had I answered I would still have gotten the recording.....any way to stop this?

Same [***] pushing making money with little or no effort.  Of course, this is unlike anything you have ever heard before  ---  The sleaziest they are, the louder they talk. I had some free time to listen to their automated speech, just to get their website.  

After listening to the first five minutes of the presentation, IMHO it's an outright pyramid. Nothing about product, only about making $3,500 from every qualifier.  To an idiot, this might look enticing. The end result is $175,000 cash flow. Hmm - Wonder how many people, other than the idiot that starts this, ever makes a dime on this garbage.

This last line was the fumiest. Has anyone ever given you the option to make thousands or even millions. Well, you can not pass this up. What a clown.

After 15 minutes of this junk, all it stated was how people would send you money to be in your line, so they can make money. Too much time on my hands. I could not get a website, so I can not report them. I did turn their number into the complaint line for the do not cal list. But, that never seems to do any good.

They sleazier and sleazier and it takes someone really dumb or really desperate to respond to this crap.  At no time did the recording ever mention the name of the company - what a surprise.

We're all getting calls from this guy, "Rob," and others, who are trying to promote their business, or just scam us, whatever.  They rely on some tiny percentage that will "go for the bait."

This guy, "Rob," admits he doesn't care if a number is on the Do Not Call Registry!!!

I just talked with Rob. (It was easy, read on.) I explained that he called my number despite the fact that it is listed with the federal Do Not Call registry.  He said he gets his numbers from internet sources, and my number must be a business number.  We talked about this for a while, and it turns out, Rob could not care less if your number is on the Do Not Call registry.  His "excuse" is, well, that number was found on the internet, and is (or was) associated with a business.  If you've had your telephone number for just a few years, perhaps it was associated with a business- at one time.  So he (and others) may call.  And the federal DO NOT CALL registry?  According to Rob, it doesn't apply, if your number was found on the internet.

So.... since Rob won't abide by the Do Not Call registry, let's hound him a bit, and make him question his practices.

Here's how I actually spoke with "Rob."  I simply called the number that was showing on my caller ID:

1 248 630-4335.  During the recording, I pressed 0.  That took me to "Rob's" voice mail box, where I left a very polite message, asking that someone please call back, and left my number.  Within a couple of minutes, Rob called.  He was polite, at first, but then became agitated when I explained that the Do Not Call registry DOES APPLY to numbers that are not associated with a business.  (He dismisses that fact.)

By the way, the number listed when Rob called back was 586 623-5523.  This appears to go to the same voice mail box as pressing 0 from the caller ID number. I suggest we call this number and leave polite messages asking for a return call.  When Rob calls back, express your frustration.

Jesus!  This guy won't stop!  I have had multiple calls, even though my number is on the do not call registry!

Guess this guy Rob can't make a legitimate living, and has to scam people over the phone.  What a loser!

I got this phone message yesterday.  I called it back but got a recording so hung up.  I am also on the do not call list.  This is such a scam.  The message said this is not a solicitation, etc.....  When they can't be tracked, they don't care.  I have also gotten phone messages from Credit Card Services.  One time I was home and answered the phone.  Before I could finish my sentence "I am on the no call list, quit calling" they hung up.  Obvious scam.  They left no phone number so I can't report it.  Didn't find one on the internet either.

I got this phone message to make tons of money from using my phone line.  It said it's not a solicitation, etc., which probably means they think they can bypass the rules of do not call lists.  Such a scam.  I called the number and only got a recording, no company name.  Didn't want to waste 15 minutes listening to what they said so I hung up.  This is so wrong. These kind of phone calls need to be stopped or what's the point of "do not call" lists? The call type was to make lots of money with no obligation to me.

Call from Pontiac, MI.  No message.  I expect it's as others have said for the same number.  It's been 2 years, and they're still at it.

Got a call from this number today and its from Pontiac also.  I am wondering why we have a do not call list since I'm on it and its my cellphone.  There was no one on the other end when I answered.

I keep getting this number calling both my house phone number and my cell phone number! I never answered because I don't know who it is. After reading all these comments, I do know who it is so I will not answer for sure.

I have received numerous calls from this number but he never leaves a message.  I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number so I guess he is just wasting his time.

Just called me too, but didn't leave a message. I sell a legitimate product and it seems like every time I place a new CL ad, these calls start. Why do these [***] think that just because they can scrape my number from Craigslist that I would be interested in their crap?

I have recieved too many calls from this number. I am on do not call list. I answered the call one time a week or so ago and it was a recording. I hung up on that call and havent answered since.
