CID said Housing Our Heroe.  Ans mach picked up and it was a recorded msg asking for donations to House Our Veterans "here in Utah".  Yeah, as if I'm going to do that when I live in Michigan.  I'm with Suzee.  I don't answer calls from people and/or numbers I don't know and especially if that information is blocked.  CID is worth every penny I pay each month.  This is the first call I have had with a recorded msg.  I didn't listen to the rest of the msg.

Yesterday CID said HousingOurHeroe, today said H. O. H.  Msg left was a recording and said "If you have been thinking of donating..." before I cut it off.

I received a call this morning and it showed up on my phone as H.O.H. I let my answering machine pisk it up and they just hung up. I am getting these call now for over a month now and getting pretty tired of it. I am on the Do Not Call List. That doesn't seen to even stop them from call us. So what can we do to put a stop to it?

I have been getting long distance calls almost every day on my home phone from one "charity" or another today it was H.O.H. I also only donate to local charities when I am able to donate. I think all of those phone calls are scams! I did call back a couple of the numbers and got a recording that stated I could be put on their Do not call list if I "pressed any key on my phone."  I have also been getting some calls on my cell phone every since I provided my cell phone number for for my Google & Hotmail/Live email accounts.  They hounded me for it "so they can text my pass word in case I forget it."  I wish I hadn't given it out so they can burn through my minutes leaving messages begging for money!  Perhaps it is just a coincidence that I began to receive unwanted calls on my cell phone soon after providing my number to their "secure" site...

Identity theft attempt

Received a call yesterday while I was at work. Caller didn't leave a message.

Because a good number of charities calling over the phone are not reputable or give so little to actual charity, I tell any charity that calls that I refuse to donate to anyone that calls over the phone and ask them to stop calling me.

More spammers as they try to hid the calling phone number.   I have asked them twice to stop calling.   But they don't.  

HOH callng from 248 731 4247 called on 10/8/2013, did not leave a message.  

Thanks to everyone for the info.   I have added them to my phone's address book as scammers with a silent ringtone.

I say when we find out who the [***] is behind this we go meet them with a big oak stick like  the one in the movie " Walking Tall". We can take turns letting the oak stick spell out " Next time we are coming to see you with guns"

Its probably some foreign piece of [***] that opened a business here. Indian, Pakistani or some [***] from the middle East.

I am on the do not call list and these creeps found some legal loop hole around the do not call list.

This is who to assault with phone calls or to flood this clown's e-mail in box. He is the CEO of Advanced Auto Parts. He is behind the charity.

This number called today. H.O.H. 248-721-4249. I dont answer calls of numbers I dont recognize. They didnt leave a message. Must not have been important..lol

When you donate to any kind of charity and put your personal info on they reciept they pass this along to other charities, as far as Do Not call list, I have been told by Do Not call that they are excluded, they can place calls to you if you provided charity information.

Did not answer.
Do not answer any call that has a number or name that I do not recognize.
Used the name of 'tired one' because that is how I feel with all of these calls.
Calls raising money from so-called police. child support. and numerous other organizations.
I google the name and/or number and usually find who they are from sites such as this one.

I am on the no caller list....I am reporting this call.

I have received 4 calls today from this number, I answered the first call and there was only dead air on the other end.I'm on the do not call list and I work midnights, they have called and woke me up 4 freakin times today! I wish I had someone who works at that places home number, I would call them repeatedly all night long, just so they know how it feels. I'm glad its my house phone and not my cell. Thank you everyone for the info on who is bothering me!

Received a call today from this number also. CID said H.O.H.  They only called once and didn't leave a message.  This call is a new one.  I looked online, and it said it was a VoIP number from Royal Oak Michigan.
