left no message

call on 8/25/09 that identified michigan and this #248-996-1997.  Didn't leave a message but sounded like a call center on background noise.

Got a call from 248-996-1997 in the evening.  No message left.  When I called the number back, a bad recording said that the number is disconnected or is no longer in service.

Have been getting calls from this # 248-996-1997 - didn't answer and they left no message.  called back and said # no longer in service - how exactly does that work?

Left no message and caller ID showd "unknown csller". Another web site showed the following

Got a call from 248-996-1997 every day this past week.  Left no message.  Says Southfield MI on caller ID.

getting several calls a week from this number, goes to my voice mail but doesn't leave a message, until this evening, they said Hello, Mrs. A......and then hung up.  I have no intention of answering it, but it is annoying to have them keep calling.

receiving call from this number almost everyday for the last 5 days. Never leaves a message, Springfield MI is the caller Id, and it has been said to be a landline on white pages. Nothing further.

Receiving numerous calls from this number daily... anyone know who it is or how to stop them from calling?

Got call from 248-996-1997 today and several times this past week.  Says "Unknown Name" on my caller ID.  No mesage left.  Grrrrrr

I received a call from this number- and the person said - it was from AC Services- asked me about changing the batteries in my smoke detectors- I told him that a relative is a firfighter and we take care of everything through him- he said - good by.

I recieved a call from this number, my 8 year old daughter answered and they asked for my husband by 1st name only, and then the lady stressed she was his freind, and it was very important to reach him, she continued to ask my daughter for a time he would be home, and a work number. My 8yr replied "why" ( her favorite word) and they hung up! I tried calling right back and it said disconnected.

Sick of these STUPID calls....do not answer....just let it ring.

maybe if we find an email address for a senator in springfield mi and email them a lot they would do something  / or doo the next best thing i can think of    keep a whistle by the phone and when this number shows up pick-up and blow blow blow then hang up
