Same as Samuel. No Message.  Unknown Caller.  Callback resulted in getting a NIS message. Fricken SPAM callers!  Am I the only one, or are there more of you who have found that registering for the CRTC DNC list has resulted in MORE spam calls instead of LESS?

The DNC List was the biggest scam!!  Thankfully i didnt fall for it and i feel bad for those who did.  They used it as a way to make money by selling your number to compaines.

called me  twice  dead  air and  when i tried to recall it  all i got was  funny little  beeps  GRRRR  hate  spam

This number appeared on my cell phone.I don't have long distance on it,so more than likely I'll be charged.Also,there was a voicemail,but no message,just blank.I called the number back on my house line and says "the number you have reached is not in service."I can see telemarketers calling house lines,but how are they getting a hold of cell phone numbers?

I got this one too a missed call on my cellphone, I dialed it using my office phone, and all it says was this number is not in service, this is a recording! It's good that I did not answer it. Have a great day everyone!

Same here, Bones! I have registered all our phone numbers (land and cell) on the Cdn DNC a long time ago (and since re-registered just to be sure) and still keep getting these [***] calls... I've just made (another) complaint to CRTC at this link:

Maybe if more people get on this and start complaining A LOT, maybe then something will be done about this.

called cell no message

Probably a scam.  The recorded message said to press 1 to claim $2500 in travel credit because I am a valued customer.  The claim was too good to be true, so I hung up.

Got a missed call from this number around 11am today. I am VERY careful with not giving out my real number, but I have a feeling it's either my bank or my old wireless provider (Koodo) who have given out my number to a third-party!

just received this call as well, automated greeting -  as a valued Aliant customer you have won $3000... Have notified Bell Aliant that someone is using their name fraudulantly, as well as a complaint with the DNC registry. First spam call on my cell phone tho in years

Got a call from this number as international, from Kigali, Rwanda. Didn't answer no messages

Got a call today (as did my colleague) saying we were valued Walmart customers and earned some sort of prize. Prompted to press 1 to redeem. I hung up.

I don't even shop at Walmart.

Just got a call on my cell. "As a valued Wal-Mart customer, you have won a $3000 travel voucher. Press 1 to collect." Then dead air.
