250-405-4966 left a long message, automated, most of it was silent. At the end of the nearly 95 seconds they finally announced who they were and what they wanted, Revenue Services Canda, asking about payments for MSP (Medical Services Plan).

I called this number back and they sent me a text which read:"Can't talk right now...busy. What's up?"
"What's up?" is right. What's up with that?

I have had manny calls from this number, claiming to be revenue canada and something about receiving something in the mail regrding medical coverage. I recveive them on my cell, never at home...pain in the butt!!!

It is Revenue Services Canada's automated phone message.  If you are behind in your medical payments you will receive a phone call from this number.  To contact them toll free phone 1-877-455-4966.

PS if you dont want them phoning you...pay your bills :P

Hey, I've been getting calls from this number for months. I don't have to pay MSP because I'm covered by my Dad but they wont stop calling. Same as kritter, they only call my cell phone. It's very annoying and I don't think its legit at all.

same here, I keep getting phone calls from this number but only on my cellphone that I just recently activated. My provider told me that it could have been from the previous owner and I got stuck with it when the phone number got "recycled" back into system. Only way I can make it stop is to change phone number. That's just crazy!

MSP is provincial responsibility, not a revenue services canada concern.  some cell fones have a call blocking feature.

Sounds like a scam. as dogboy said, it is a provincial thing and nothing to do with Revenue Canada.

SCAM! scam! SCAM! they called a few months ago and there is not REVENUE CANADA's number -  claiming that dues are owed for MSP.  SCAM!

And they called again today!  (Vancouver Island)

No message left on our machine.

Just received a call as well...Revenue Services BC does collect money for Medical Services Plan premiums, but since I pay mine automatically every month, I'm positve this is a scam of some sort.

If it is MSP then the left hand needs to talk to the right as they have already clawed what I owe out of my tax refund and they called this evening. :-(

give them nothing, not even to confirm anything they claim to "know", report the call to the police.

This is a scam!!! They call you because they are phishing for info so they can steal your identity.

I receive many calls from that PH number I on my cell phone.
Got a call today now there is a name attached to the call "Becky".
Does anyone know how to stop those annoying calls???
My cell ph has no blocking feature.

All my bills are paid for. Not sure why they still call me. They have been calling me for quite some time.
