Someone keeps calling to offer me a better interest rate on my credit card

had two calls in one day from this number.  Something about a credit card.  Thot this was illegal.

Ditto. Call back to number declares it's NOT IN SERVICE.

Depuis plusieurs fois  je recois des appels de ce numéro, je vous l'ai rapporté dernièrement.
Aujourd'hui,m le 28 déc 2012, j'ai recu nun autre appel, j'au raccroché immédiatement.
Je suis très stressé, j'ai peur de ca, je suis âgé, je n'ai pas besoin de ce problème.
S.V.P. faites quelques chose pour moi.

Got a call from 250-499-8851, no message left on my voice mail.  My husband answered as he did not have his glasses on to read the number.  I do not like these calls and wish they would stop calling.

I called the real # 1-888-796-9619 and explained that the practice is illegal in Canada.

i called the real number and a guy answered and asked me how i got that number so i told him doesnt matter just stop calling me

I have been getting these calls for the last several days. My mom has too. She has dementia and it has caused her to be quite upset.
The number appears as "unknown". I tracked the exact number down through my phone service provider.

I called the number back- "it is not assigned"-this should not be allowed.

Last chance to reduce interest on credit card

Got a call yesterday around noon; a message about my credit card (no name) and asking to press "1" to get lower interest rate.  This is a scam; if you press "1", you could be transfer to a 1-900 number and pay for the call.  Hang-up immediately and report to "Phone Busters"

Our number is unlisted and I was still woken up with a call from this number. Called the number back and it is unlisted.

The Do Not Call list is as effective as the Firearm Registry...a waste of the taxpayers money.  At least these Nevada scammers took a few weeks off for Christmas. Doing this phone hobby keeps them out of the neighbourhood garbage bins looking for collectibles, but maybe that's where they belong.
