Credit card scam call with an automated voice at the other end.....

Was on my call display

Pre-Christmas credit card scam. Merry Christmas to you also. Unfortunately my card is maxed out. Get a real job and pay taxes.

Credit card scam. "This is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus, so press 1 now to take advantage of this today."

I've heard this same recording dozens of times already with different numbers.

Credit card telemarketing scam

Called the number back someone answered: Good Afternoon, McDonald's Salt Spring Island, Sharon speaking"

Have received quite  few calls but the one this afternoon I got to speak to someone and told him to take my phone number off his list.  He hung up!

Number is registered to a gentleman in Salt Spring Island....

Did same thing and got hung up as well.

just got the call, ignored it

dum dee dum dum push buttons and your blocked wahahahaha sucker put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Wait till you get put through to a customer representative (real person) then swear at them...they will hang up.

Why am I paying for a phone to get unsolicited calls.
What about some further call block features to protect from these pirates.

Pushed 1 to talk to somebody. He could hardly speak English & I told him I was on do not call list & to take me off his list. He kept on with spiel but understood when I told him I was reporting him to CRTC. Then he hung up on me.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of nerding reroute and N Grant is also a victim.

They have phoned twice today - 2x in six hours!

Called area phone service firm and ask them to disconnect the number because I am moving to an area where their service is not available.  Evil?  perhaps, but effective.

Why complain when the service provider fails to stop such calls?

Got a call at 7:15 PM local time Thunder Bay. Was in a mellow mood and didn't check the call display. Said a soft hello, and waited. Whoever, whatever, hungup. B**tard!

Is there any way to have such a caller stop harassing people. I am not sure where they got my phone number from despite it being unlisted. I beg you to do something constructive. Three to four times calls without response. It is disturbing peace of my mind.
