I get repeated calls form this number asking for a man.
I get about 2 calls a day and it - as I've told the woman who asks for ' Mark ' - is harassment.
I get calls mid afternoon, now ,( 3 :30 ) and when I am in traffic at rush hour .
I pull over thinking its work emerg. and its this number.

Yep, we have been getting the same calls.  There are about 12 on our phone now.  They always ask for someone ("Shirley" the last time).  We have told them twice it is the wrong number.  I answered again today and the woman was very rude.  The call went like this:

    AAS:  Hi is Shirley there?
Me: No, there's no Shirley here, can I ask who this is calling?
AAS:  I'm phoning Shirley to follow up on a survey she did with us a couple days ago.

*note: there is no shirley nor have we done any survey's from anyone at any time*

Me:  Well, if you could please take us off this phone list that would be great.
AAS: You just said Shirley is not there.
Me:  Yes, because there is no Shirley at this number - and we have told you guys that before.  We have 12 calls on our phone from you, and we'd appreciate being removed from the call list.

*** somewhere amidst my last sentence the caller (a woman) had hung up.

I always try to be polite to the telemarketers and simply get my name removed from the list - it usually works, but these people are just rude, and I suspect up to no good.  There is another thread on the same AAS (Advanced Air Supply) company.

We have been getting calls from this number for about two months, generally about four times a week. I can't say I have ever picked up to find out what they want, and having read the comments here, I don't think I ever will.

Do not give your phone number to these people. It is a scam and their grade on the BBB is a F.

got a call today asking specifially for me - my husband said they'd called before and when I wasn't in they just hung up.  Today she thanked me for taking their survey a while ago (don't think I did that!) and then said I had been chosen to win a prize, either a travel voucher or some 49 piece food storage package (no thanks).

I got a call some days ago asking about air quality in my area.  I told her that I did not want a air purification system or anything she was selling.  She assured me that this was not one of those calls.  I answered 2 questions about air.  Last night at 6:15 I got a call telling me I won a daily prize to which I answered that I did not want to see a demonstration or anything.  She assured me that that was not the case and they just wanted to drop my chosen prize at my home at 7:45 last night.  I repeated that I would not look at any product that they were selling.  She asked that she could send the prize in the daylight hours  the next day if I was concerned that it was too dark. I told her that was not my concern because I have 5 dogs.  They were to come and drop my prize but never showed up.  Today at 1:00 a young lady dragging a large case behind her shows up to give me a demo of whatever had in the bag.  I was astonished that she was there and told her that I would not participate in anything she had to show me.  She asked to use my phone to call her manager.  In a few minutes he wanted to talk to me.  Chris then went ahead and told me that I agreed to a demo at 1:00 today to which I corrected him .  I did NOT!  He told me that they would not have promised the prize if I had not agreed to them plugging in something at my place.  They have a strict script to fallow during these calls.  I told him that I was very clear from the beginning and did not agree to anything. Also said that I am too busy for this.  He asked if I'm busy all day up to midnight? I told him that that  wasn't the point,  I never agreed to this demo.  He then had the gall to say that there was a recording of the call  where he could check on what my answers were.  I challenged him to listen to that recording and then I want an apology from the company for this accusation of me being a liar.  He actually went on to tell me what word of mouth advertising was.  I assured him that any word of mouth advertising that I will do for this company is negative since this conversation.  He was so condescending to me I told him where to go and hug up,  Then still had to kick the salesperson out of my yard since she didn't have the smarts to leave on her own.  I was left in tears because I have never been spoken to like that before  This manager's name was Chris and the number she called to reach him was# 2503842824.  This is the number for Victoria grocery and flowers store.  I am reporting to the BBB as well.

In going back through my call display, my calls seem to have started on Saturday, the 20th. I do not answer the phone if I don't know who is calling or if there is no name attached to an unfamiliar number. And, I generally BLOCK calls once they've called more than once without leaving a message. There are 4 or 5 calls since Saturday as far as I can tell, and not a single message was left.

Last night, Tuesday the 23rd, In my blindness (I couldn't find my reading glasses), I answered the phone thinking it was my daughter, but it turned out to be these people. When the very pleasant lady asked for me, I simply said I wasn't here and asked if I could take a message. She said she'd call back.

Apparently she tried this morning and then again about an hour ago. At that point, the phone number was familiar to me, so I Googled it and that's how I got here. Being a bit of an imp, I decided to block my phone number and call them to see who they were (I hadn't yet read much of the info on this page).

Oh boy, was I a lucky girl today!!! I won a daily prize and I could even have my choice between two of them!! No strings attached. Then the girl asked me if I had ever heard of word of mouth advertising, and I told her that was how I did business back in New Hampshire as a high school tutor so she didn't need to continue to read from her cue cards. I think I might have stumped her a wee bit there or at least made her lose her place for a minute.

So, she started to ask if I'd be home in the next 45 minutes so someone could come and drop off my prize, and I told her that I was NOT up for seeing anyone and unless it was JUST to hand it to me through the door, that was as much as I would say yes to. She still tried to go on as if it wasn't going to be any effort on my part but she had to go into her spiel about word of mouth advertising for their product and I stopped her and said "So in other words, even though I JUST SAID that I am not up for seeing anyone right now, I really didn't win anything unless I let someone into my house to show me something I don't want any part of?"

I have to give it to her for being nice compared to what I have read above, but she went on about the word of mouth stuff and said "How about tomorrow?" I said I have to go to Kamloops to see my kidney specialist. LOL, I didn't think she was rude, perhaps since her voice was sweet, but then she said "All day?" and I lied and said "Yes."

And, then it became Friday and I have an appointment with my pain doctor all day too, so as she started to go forward, again reminding me that this isn't going to cost me a thing, but someday I could meet someone who might need their product and that's the word.... I cut her off and said "Would you like to hear about word of mouth and your company? Well Google that phone number you all call from and you see a LOT of word of mouth "advertising" honey. And, really now that I've wasted time since you FIBBED to me about a prize, I am going to go and I don't want to hear... She cut me off and said she was going to remove my name from their list... hehehe, I LOVE it when I turn it around on them!

Oh, and I actually did do a 3 question survey... it was almost immemorable, it was so short! Next time, I will NOT answer anyone's questions!!! Although since I called them, and it was on my time, I actually had fun playing them for a change. And, I also have a way to block their phone number, but for now, I want to see if she really takes me off the list.

Haha, apparently not yet as I just got another call as I was typing that! I almost didn't answer, but I did and I said, "Gee, you folks were supposed to have removed me from your list, and you're still calling?" (No hello first.)

This girl was sharp and said "Oh, you've talked to someone already? Well, did that person remember to tell you that you have been chosen to win our daily prize?"

"Yep, and I also know the string that is attached, which is why I want OFF your list."

"Okay, I will make sure you are removed."

"Good, and while you do that, Google your phone number and check out word of mouth advertising and how well it is affecting you folks. Have a nice day. Good-bye."

Now, I am trying to decide if I should I put the blocker on them or wait to see if they keep trying.

They call saying to confirm a survey you answered on the phone a while back (which you never did) and ultimately leads to them coming to your home with an "air filtration system", aka filter queen vacuum.  The vacation they promise is a scam - it's for a time share presentation.  Major scam, we've reported them to the RCMP and the BBB for both fraud and calling our number even though we're on the not call list.

I also don't answer calls unless i know who it is as I am recovering from chronic illness -often don't answer live anyway -let people leave me questions I can think about first before answering ---so haven't answere these calls but yes- several a day is too much now - and to limp over to a phone just to see AAS is maddening now - so broke down to Google them - Thanks everyone for the heads up - haven't blocked a number b-4 -hope not too pricey but will be worth it

Hi ya these guys had the nerve to send someone to my door with this little survey on the air quality in my area with I answerd, then he gave me a slip for a draw where I could win a $500 shopping spree. So I took it and unfortanlly gave him my name and number and he left. Now two days later I'm getting the same calls as described above buy others! (Never again!)

Same scam.  Numerous calls from AAS.  Now I keep a scout whistle by the phone and as soon as they start talking, I start blowing and I don't stop until they hang up.  Might be a bit rude but sure makes my day.
