Called on a Sunday.  Thought that was illegal? Anyway, just a computer and couldn't tell them they had the wrong house.

Calls Me everyday At 9:00-10:00

Receive calls from them daily. When I did answer a person asked for my wife but wouldn't say why he wanted her. Sounds like a bogus collection agency that has been hounding us for over a year now. They just change numbers every now and then.

Calls me at 8:30AM, and at two other random times every day. They have left messages on my machine insisting that I call them back, and when I've answered, there was no one on the line.

duder left message saying that he is calling regarding an urgent matter and said they have made multiple attempts to reach me, this was their first. then an automated voice took over the message and gave me a toll free number and reference number to call.

This number has been calling me at least 3 times per day for the last month or so.  I'm this close to jealbreaking my iPhone JUST to install an app to make it stop!

You guys owe something obviously if its a collection company, why not answer the phone, deal with your debt and get on with your life. They are willing to work with you if you are nice and cooperative, and will actually work out something with you.

If you get mad, rude, and insulting then things wont work in your favour.

If you are the wrong person, all it takes is "Oh Im sorry I dont know that person" and they will go "Sorry, I will have your number removed, thanks very much".

If you go "listen here you a*** you better f*** get this f*** you sob.." then theyre going to be like "what is wrong with you "...

You get what you give.. Hopefully thats a tip for you to deal with your debt, and remember, you put yourself in this situation so dont get mad at the people who have to fix your mistakes.

Who made you global cop! If you have the money send it to your creditor. If you don't you don't. There is no reason under the sun to deal with a collection agent. If your creditor has a right to a middleman then you have a right to a middleman, and your middleman is called Dead Air! Never send your money to the collection agency. Send it to your creditor.

Hey C!, I've told them on *several* occassions over the last three months to stop calling me and despite that, they keep calling. I have no debt and the person they are looking for I don't even know. So please get off your high horse and passing judgement on those of us who are consistently being harassed for no reason and apparently to no end.

Yep... most definately a collections matter.  

Try dealing with the agency - they are people too, and maybe you'll come out on the other end a bigger person for dealing with your obligations as a responsible grown-up.

Don't, and you are categorized accordingly.  Think about it for a second folks....  When you create your own financial problems, the debt collectors aren't the scum... but instead the party that STOLE the funds in the first place is the party that should be eating some humble pie... no??

I wasn't home, but I just got in and I dont recognize it.
So I looked it up on google and it took me here. I'm going to block it because I don't call anybody I don't know so what makes it ok if this beeyatch does it?

The calls come from ARC Accounts Recovery Corp. They are located in Victoria, BC. A call to 250-953-6900 should end your problems.

Clearly you are from the collection agency - since as you said you don't get such calls the only way you would be here is b/c you searched your own number to see what people were saying about you - loser!!!

Maybe you should get a real job instead of working in a call centre for $10/hour lol

Everybody needs to pay attention that there are some lier companies called "collection companys", they got information of your buying records and ask you to pay again! Don't believe it!

Such an obvous advice but thank you. I called ARC back and asked what they wanted; they were looking for somebody I don't know. Asked them to remove my phone number, was advised they would.

Its the collections for B.C health. Pay your medical !!!
