They called me and then hung up... Loosers

they called said they were america and that i had won from a online contest that i had entered. they said i had won a trip to florida and wanted me to confirm some information. they new my first name and dob but wanted my spouses name and when i asked them where i enter they would not tell me. they just kept asking for my spouses name and when i said you want me to give you my personal information but you refuse to tell me where i enter because you don't want to give me any wrong information. the woman when GOOD BYE and hung up..... can you say SCAM

If you hang on long enough they say 'We show that you have active VISA card, this card number starts with 4503, if this is correct can you verify the rest of your credit card number?" They claim they need it for a $250 or $500 deposit for your 'free' trip. Just so you know, all VISA's start with those numbers, and the first 4 numbers of your VISA can be pulled off of anything very easily. These people are obvious scammers, I have had a few calls from them, even from different numbers, but its all the same scam. I try to waste as much of their time as I possibly can so they can't scam someone else.
