I just received a call from 630-213-1970 which had to do with this scam and they provided me the above number to call back.  They called and told me that they were from Microsoft that my computer had sent error messages indicating my hard drive is so overrun with malware that it could crash at any moment.  When I told them that I have AVG virus protection and that it has a malware component, they actually got terse with me and told me that NO virus protection covers malware.  It was when they urged me to allow them to connect to my computer and indicated that I was running a great risk that I began to reallly doubt them.  They were so pushy that I couldn't help wondering why. Upon googling - this is a scam.  Microsoft will NOT make unsolicited calls to fix your computer.  Sods made me miss my lunch and now its cold.  Not impressed.

We received a phone call this afternoon requesting remote access to our computer, as they have received notification that something malicious has been downloaded to our computer.  The person was male and had a heavy accent.  The phone number showed on our call display as 630-653-9660 and the number they asked to return the phone call was 250-984-8336.  I explained to him that we were not interested, the person became very beligerant and start cursing on the phone.  I told him to that it sounded like a scam, to which he became very threatening.  I then hung up the phone.

Same thing, I just spoke to a "ROGER" for at least 30 minutes and then to his supervisor ROGER.  Although he went step by step through everything on my computer, and got very angry when I said I am not interested.  I asked for the phone number, and he gave the 250-984-8336 number and told me it was a local call.  I told him, no it's long distance since for me, he basically told me I'm not intelligent and that I should purchase a plan. He kept saying it's with WINDOWS I kept saying I've never paid regularly for WINDOWS.  But when you look closely at their link a little blurb passes through the top stating that "windows it an online service for all computer software, this is not windows microsoft" so BE CAREFUL!  I'm still worried that they gave me virus' and hacked my computer!

this number 2509848336 is a BIG scam, it some kind of we will fix your computer for $450.00, they said this cover for life, if you get virus on your computer it was most likely them......so you have to purchase they virus protect so watch out........this number is vancouver number but they are calling from India.......
