- David| 1 replyThis same person on this mobile number left me a message. These company are scam artists. GIVE THEM NO INFORMATION! I REPEAT GIVE THEM NO INFORMATION! REPORT THEM TO YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES!
- Marvin| 1 replythey left me a message they are calling from a process or summons division that there are two charges filed against me in my county that looks like fraudulent activity has been attached to my name and social security number. they need to make me aware of my legal rights to address these charges prior to them being filed against me. they said i need to do so before i receive a summons at my place of employment (which i am unemployed) or at my home address. they said if that happens my rights will be forfeited and they cited a case number ZOL927
TOTAL SCAM!!!
first off they never told me What if any charges are being filed against me they only said fraudulent charges
they never said what company they work for
also they should know that im unemployed i have been for more than a year now.
also why is an Alabama number calling me when i live in Chicago!
tips:
NEVER give them any personal information they should have everything already
(rule of thumb if its on your license, social, or passport never give it over the phone.)
NEVER give out your social security number make them give it to you first since they claim your social is compromised
Do not give out your address they should have it since they are threatening to send you a summons at home- Caller: Process or summons division?
- AnonSame message that Marvin got above. Sounded like a Jersey accent not an Alabama one. No company name in the voice mail. I'm not the person they said they are looking for and I've no idea if that person works at our business--which has more than 10,000 employees.

- JudySo this number called my cell and in-laws home phone. They've called from a different number as well. Such a scam!!!
- BigAThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

They are definitely preying on naive people. It's a SCAM!! Do not feel threatened or intimidated by them. They hide behind recorded messages and don't reveal who they really are or their physical location. They want you to be stupid and send them money. I don't know how they sleep at night trying to take innocent people's money just because they don't want to do what it takes to make a legitimate living. Cowards! Get a
REAL job that actually requires you to earn your money instead of stealing other people's money!
Consider yourself "notified".- Caller: processing and summons department

- JME| 1 replyMy comment are the same as the above - this is now the 5th telephone number these people are calling from. An actually person called me last week and when I told them they had no business calling me as there is nothing on my credit report and that they forfeited their rights when they did not contact me in writing within 5 days of their first call back in April and that they needed to STOP calling me - he informed me I was a thief and hung up on me. I was soo hoping the calls would stop and yet today they started again from this number in Alabama. This now makes the 4th state - they started in MI, then went to TN, NY, MA and now AL...UGH. I have reported each of the numbers the FTC I just wish I knew how to stop them completely.

- ja replies to DavidI report all these calls to the Federal Trade Commission. Then I block the number on my phone.

- unkownI received a call from recording. It informed me they received a letter of complaint filed on me . I will receive something from them at my residence or place of employment. Gave me that number to call them and us this ref no LEM ......They it saided, you have been served.
- carmenThey continue to call from different numbers and when I call back its a message stated to leave a message...clearly debt collectors have specific hours and when closed fir business let you know the hours that they are in not leaving a dang message

- SOS different numberEgads, they are not bright at all. Constantly calling our internal numbers asking for a Thomas Elton (SP?)
I complain to corporate, they block the number, then the same skunks call with a different number. Canned robo call so even if you do answer, the recording starts over from the beginning if you try to speak.
This time the woman's voice did not state any name of the company or her name on the call. - Rosanne MaierAfter reading all the posts I decided to call the number back. I spoke with a Constance Graham ( if that was her real name I am not sure). Constance could not pronounce the last name of the person she was giving me info about. I gave her the last name and she proceeded to give me her spiel....... WITHOUT verifying I was the person she was looking for. So I politely interrupted her and informed her my call was also being recorded and monitored for fraud by the local sheriff's office as well as states attorney. She hung up on me. Or maybe we were just disconnected. So I called back and received a recording stating the party I was trying to reach is not taking calls at this time and to please leave a message...... and got disconnected again. Scammers are too dumb to even follow hypa laws to appear legit.

- Lexington kyI got a call from them today(6/22/15) and found out that I had a debt to household bank from 13 years ago. I have never heard of this company and never had a credit card. The woman never identified the company she was with but said they were retained to collect the debt. She said that household bank let the "loan" lapse this long to collect interest and went to court to have the statute of limitations removed so they could proceed with the collection. I called the BBB and played the voice message for them and was told it was a scam. A person has to be notified in writing about a court action and not be told in a message about it. I also called my attorney and was told it was a scam. He also told me that the company could not have a court order to set aside the statute of limitations on this matter. The statutes are in place for a reason.

- jim replies to JohnsonSame as a welfare government employee...
- gayle mi can't understand most of the call, it is a call for gidem camsey or ramsey telling him/ her that there is a complaint faxed and will be served at his/ her home or place of employment, (i have been retired for years.) i called the number to ask them to please stop wasting my time and a daily call is abusive. i was placed on hold, they called me so i waited 2 minutes and hung up. i am not wasting my time listening to music that is horrible. they don't give a name of the company and the reference number is another voice that isn't audible. it has become most annoying.
