Called Identified himself as working for Family Dollar, Offering business marketing space on the back of sales receipts. Stated he was in the area, (Michigan) and could drop by to talk.  

Boiler room operation. Recorded message to try to sell business owners ranking. After pressing the buttons to get connected as if I were interested, I asked to be taken off the list. He hung up on me.

"Hi , this is Jon.. your online business specialist for google, bing and Yahoo"   blah blah blah ..... he prompts you to press one to speak to a live specialist or 2 to be removed from the list... but I get a call from robo Jon , like twice a month.

Yes, this number is for google bing and some others, rating service. These calls are abusive, as bad as debt collectors. I have asked to be off their call list twice. They STILL CALL only the line drops after the first 10 second or so of the recorded message.

Okay so this guy called me from this number at my job today and I work for an appliance repair company in NJ. He acted like a customer at first saying he wanted us to repair the wire for his washer and the plug for his dryer. When I was explaining the service call charge he kept going on and on about how crazy it was. It was so strange how he kept talking in circles and saying we were [***]. I even asked if it was a prank call and clearly you may want to call someone else but he wouldn't let me off the phone until I practically had to just hang up. We also get tons of Google calls all week from other numbers but I had to look up this number because this man was weird and it must have been a prank but it was a poor attempt to be funny.

No message left. Robocall most likely.

new variation of old, tired, robo, fake google scam. unusual, but I pressed 1 twice to connect to live operator. she hung up when I repeatedly required what company she works for. call is noted as prank as scam is not available.

Left no message - CID said Flomaton, AL, where I know nobody of course. I'd say random boiler room/robot calling and/or list-building. I get a great number of snail-mail and email solicitations actually from Google Ads, so I'd not be surprised if they're calling too, or hucksters trying to 'hook us up'. Whatever...

The caller from this number is trying to sell you google ads etc. They are very persistent in saying no one can find your business on the internet. I told Ryan "You found mine." Then he started being rude and I advised I was not interested in his blah blah service. I asked that he remove my number from his call list as I requested at the beginning of the call. He said people can't find me and kept trying to confirm my number and I said not interested. He said fine...have a good day and God bless.

This number calls our business 4-5 times each day to "Update our Google Listing." I have removed our number from their call list at least 10 times through their automated system and through a person over the last year. We continue to receive persistent and incessant phone calls!

Don't use their do not call feature. You're just letting them know your number is good.

Buy an air horn.  Pick up phone.  Use air horn for 5 seconds.  Problem solved.

The company that keeps calling me from this number (and several others) is Google Ads. They have been asked by their automated system several times and by an actual individual to remove me off their call list. I've told them that I'm on the do not call list but they refuse to stop calling me.

Calls me, then pause, no answer, then automated message saying I will be connected regarding search.
