received a call from an "unknown" didnt answer message left from online information services debt collection. the 252 317 3579 was a call back number. NO CLUE why they would be calling, person they left message for i dont know. now what? prior to this call i got a call from a texas number so since i dont know anyone in texas just assuming its them as well.

According to one of the other posters this is Online Information Services, a debt collector.  However that information is 4 years old.  Since no one, including yourself, has given new information it is impossible to say.  Regardless of whether the number is legit or not, when dealing with a debt collector the best way to determine if they are legit is to make them follow the letter of the law.
