i received a call from this number. however, no info left for reason of contact

I got a call from this number at my home, cell phone and work phone. I don't give out my cell phone or work phone to anyone but family and close friends. I called this number back and got a recording that it was a verizon wireless number that was either disconnected, changed or no longer in service. No messages left on cell or home. They hung up when I answered at work.

Got a call from this number offering me a free 2-day cruise in the Bahamas if I answered questions for a 30 second political survey.  Fortunately they gave an option to opt out and remove your number from their system by selecting option 9.  No telling if option 9 does anything but there is always hope.
