These people at Wachovia a PSHYCO. If you are 1 minute late with your payment they are stalking you. One rep said I could pay my auto loan over the phone with NO extra fee, but yet they screw you for $10.00 just to pay over the PHONE. As soon as I get a new car, I'm telling them to shove their loan up their A**!!!

Yano, I've read several negative comments about Wachovia and their car loan servicing. I want to post the positive experiences I've had with them. When I went to buy a new car in Feb 08, with not so great credit...Wachovia was the only lender who would provide financing for me. Granted it was at a very high finance percentage, but I had to have a new-to-me car (old one on last legs).

I was very thankful for Wachovia and I gotta tell ya, right now, Wachovia is at the top of my 'thank you for being an Angel' list.  Why? I've been out of work on disability since Apr 2nd, receiving only 60% of my usual $22/hr compensation.  I've never been late with a payment and was able to keep up with my loan payments until Oct when medical bills started eating up most of my funds.  Not ever thinking I would be approved, I applied for a hardship refinance.  The people that worked with me were kind and understanding.  I was approved for the refinancing with a lowered finance percentage (-10%) that will ensure I am never late again with my payments. I reached out to them and they were there for me. With this recent experience, I have the utmost respect for this company and wouldn't hesitate to finance through them again.

I call B.S. to the "Positive Experience" poster. Wachovia is bad at harassing clients. My guess is that it was posted by a Wachovia employee...

Wachovia is a piece of [***] company!  All they do is harrass people!

So these guys call my fiancee this afternoon, saying they're coming to get my truck. I call Wells Fargo's 800 number and speak to an account rep. They have no idea what I'm talking about because my account is in good standing. The nice woman tells me that someone is playing a cruel joke on my fiancee because there is nothing wrong with my account. Ridiculous.
