It never shows on my cell when they call.  The first part of the message cuts out so you can't hear who's calling.  And they give you a number to call back about an account that has issues or some [***]

This number came through on my work beeper that is not given out to the public. My guess is that it is a random dialer. No message

The message is from a collection agency, either medical or such. That where they are calling from. Security agency, I believe is to be the name of the company.

Security Collection Agency - recorded call with return phone and reference number details.  Follows a letter received regarding an overdue medical account which is actually a billing problem they would not, presumably, be aware of.

I got the call from 2524821559 and it only rang twice.  I called the number back and it expects that.  A pre-recorded answer said the call might be recorded and that I was being transferred to the next available person.  I hung up.  I think it is a collection agency.

Collection agency for doctors and hospitals . They harass people who have no health insurance because they either can't afford it or are denied because of pre-exsisting conditions and can't afford to pay their full medical bill(s) at time of service. Who's walking around with $12,000.00 in their pocket now days? The doctors wan't you to have the procedure to save your life knowing you don't have health insurance and on a fixed income, then they hire thugs and leg breakers to harass you for money.

Allied business solutions. They are the debt collector for Cape Fear Valley Health Systems which includes Highsmith Rainey. And I agree with MIB who has the kind of $ these hospitals charge. Most of us are hard woking americans with no health Insurance and no way to pay for it. I just put them in my cell phone marked go straight to voicemail. I send a little bit every month or two to pay it off. If my Vet can take a little payment every month or two for what I owe him (my dog and cat both of 14 years died almost together both had cancer and tumors) and not turn me over to a collection agency then so should the f****n hospital.

Thay keep calling I keep hanging up I cant pay anything now anyway I had 2 heart attacts back to back stents (7) of them when I am able to pay them I will. But calling me 5 times a day will not help them get it any faster.

Same old debt collectors for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center!! They shold pay more attention to their patients health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Cape Fear, call comes from Edmonton, Nc or there abouts. I live on the western part of South Carolina, Greenville Spartanburg area. Never been to that hospital, so why are they calling me, on a do not call listed number.

It's a bill collector , wants to collect all my bills.

Try feeding your dog and cat , Taste of the Wild...... No toxic ingredients .... it cost more but it doesn't give your pets tumors , but no vet bills. Big semi's of of rolls of paper going to dog food plants ask the driver why are you giving paper to Pet Food plants? He said they use it in the food.
I agree with you about no insurance and hard working people trying to make ends meet , and pay doctor bills and the food we eat has paper in it also, like cheese and salad dressings and it's almost in everything. They hide the name of wood, by calling it cellulose.

Called this number back from another number.  It said please hold for the next available operator. I just hung up and labeled it on my cell phone "IGNORE"

Calling to collect on ambulance bill that I have repeatedly informed them AND their clients IN writing that I am unable to pay. I just hung up on them. Tired of this malarkey.

I agree that doctors encourage you to have procedures and tests knowing they will get their pint of blood from insurance, but where do they think the rest comes from?  Order an MRI that costs $2,400 and the copay is "only" $400.00 sounds pretty good to the doctor, but who has an extra $400 laying around?  And that's only one of several "little" bills that come as a surprise.  What's the other choice?  Don't have the tests and don't find out what's wrong?  Don't find out what's wrong so you don't treat it and die of it? It sounds like that children's rhyme: "For want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of the shoe the horse was lost, for want of of horse the battle was lost, for want of the battle the war was lost all for the want of a missing nail."  I don't answer the phone unless it's someone I know. Someone who doesn't want money.

Agree with you. I was taken unconscious to the hospital for a non-life-threatening condition and given procedures I would have refused due to inability to pay were I conscious. I was charged $800 FOR ONE IBUPROFEN TABLET!!!! I told their collection dept I would go to the drug store and buy them a whole bottle instead of paying. They harassed me for months, ruined my credit despite my making regular agreed-upon payments. Legally they can still ruin your credit even if you are paying them because it is not immediate in one payment. I quit paying the b****rds at that point.
