whose number is this?

With my call the clown identified himself as calling from and in behalf of the North Carolina Association of State Police.  I hung up on him.  They claim to be collecting money for the Cops Widow's Fund.  From what I have discovered they are required by law to actually distribute money as they claim but ( and monitored by authorities to do so) but they are only required to distribute a small portion, 15% or so.  The rest is eat up in admin costs.  

Just another scam.

I've been called twice from this number.  They didn't leave a message on the answering machine either time.  I wonder if its really from a law enforcement charity.  Scammers will say anything to steal a buck.

This number has called me 3 times in the last 15 hours.  I will not be answering!

call and when I answer they hang up

This person called me on 09/24/11 at 9:25am, and they said nothing. My caller ID said Unknown Name.

Called at 2:29 pm 10/23/11. Said he was calling for some law enforcement charity. Did not listen to it all, hung up.
