Called my biz cell. Out of my area so I did not answer. They left no message.

Called twice today. Left no message. I live in Chicago and this call came from NC.

Calling business cel that's also on the Do Not Call list. No message, of course.

Said they were Google calling to verify my already verified business listing.

Recording said it was Google calling to verify my also already verified business listing.  4th call today from 4 different numbers.  They have no identifier and leave no message.

Impostors who claim to be from Google (they are not) or claim to be associated with Google (they are not). They either claim your business Google+ profile is not complete, verified, or optimized or that they can raise your search engine rankings through SEO and Adwords/keywords. They spoof numbers from all across the USA to avoid being tracked and in an attempt to make you believe they are from Google (or that they are associated/partnered with Google) to persuade you to purchase their bogus services so they can obtain your financial info. They call all numbers (including cell and Do Not Call list numbers), and they hang up if you ask them to verify their identity, verify the company they are calling from, or ask too many probing questions. They are looking for an easy mark. Various reports online about this scam mention the calls originate from overseas but they spoof numbers across the US to try to make their fraud look like a legitimate US business. When they call you and ask to speak to the business owner, ask them what business they are trying to reach. They cannot answer your question because your number was robodialed, and they don't know who or what business they called.

Called to ask to confirm my '50% complete' Google listing. Spam.

A call stating they are google.  I press remove my number from call list and I still get calls daily stating they are google.

Do not recognize this number they do not leave a message and you cannot call them to find out who they are

Google scam that Google helps perpetrate. Do a search for "robocall" on Google to see who's paying to advertise with them...yes, that would be the scammers that just called you.

Don't forget to thank your telephone provider and government for allowing this to continue.

Number being spoofed by telemarketers claiming to work directly for Google, Inc. Caller, "Bartholomew", provided false information, later claiming to work for a third party operating under the name of "BlackHawk SEO" and that he was "freshly hired" and needed this sale. He goes on to provide his employee ID, 723CA, which I also am confident was falsified. After being told I just wanted to familiarize myself with the people that already have my information, he went on to talk rather vehemently before finally admitting everything he had provided was "bullsh*t" before hanging up.
