he said he was the U.S. Government grant department and started mumbling

they called cell phone and when I answered they couldn't even pronounce the persons first name they were looking for. I hung up and blocked this caller

They call my cell phone ask me if i was rosa i say yes.,i was qualify for a u.s goverment grant of 7,000 ask me to grab paper and pen and they hung up.

Caller asked for me by first and last name then proceeded to tell me I am being given a grant up to 7k. I dont have to pay it back, or pay taxes on it either. Then I was asked to write a confirmation # down and call another # so I can speak with the 'treasury department' s supervisor. I called to then get asked if I would like the 7k put into my bank account or wired to me. I said I'd like it mailed to me via check... That wasn't an option theeeen he says to me I need to wire them $300 for the application process etc. And after they receive the $300 they will wire me the 7k and the entire process tskrs only 10 to 15 minutes.... I'm super dkrptoval about this treasury department call.

The same thing happened to me word for word

This person called me and he was very hard to understand because he had a very heavy asian accent and when I asked what he said he said that he loved me and then hung up. It was so weird.

Same number called me at 4:16 someone on the other mend asked for me by first and last name I said yes and he hung up I called the number back no answer the # is 253-216-3443 at of Washington state area code, town KENT

Same thing happened to me with the whole $7000 thing, then I called and lodged a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission!!!

So, the same thing just happened to me. Do you know if it's a scam?

Bad cell connection but did catch something about giving me 7k USD. Called him several choice names and he hung up.

I work for police department had a resident call saying these people offered him financial aid and he provided them all his info including debit card number etc and they also asked for money to be sent through money gram. I advised him to cancel his card to avoid charges luckily he never sent the money order to them. Unfortunately we couldn't do much criminally because there was no crime but i called these numbers from station and advised i was from police and they where under investigation they obviously hung up and now do not answer. Hoping that deters them a bit sorry guys

These people are calling CONSTANTLY, day in, day out, Indian accent stating calling From US Grant Treasury Dept...I told him to STOP calling or I will hunt him down like Cecil, the lion!!

Same number called me August 24th at 2:01pm, it was an Asian woman said she was calling for the Department of Treasury. She called me by my name. Their getting our names when we put in for jobs on the internet some how. I'm calling to report them.

Caller said he was the FBI....  He has called on 8/18 and 8/24/2015.  call is from Camel Rodriguez 253-216-3443.
He was looking for a wanted man.  I knew is was a prank call and hung up.  But this needs to STOP. Can't you
fine him for harsement of people using the phone.  HE is a Jurk...  I told him so.

I just received a call from a foreign speaking guy. He mispronounced my entire name. I told that there was no one by that name here, he quickly hung up. I did nor give this jerk time to tell me who he was. This call came from Washington, but it was a scam call. I want these creeps to stop calling.

They called me and said I was receiving 7k for no criminal record & no bankruptcy. They wanted my bank account info or debit card #. I said i would not give them that info so they gave me an option to pick it up through money gram at Walmart BUT I was given a # to call 1st 253-777-0104. Didn't  call, looked this # up. Helpful info!
