they just call and leave no messages, this happen on my house phone, and you can't call them back the line is dead

These people are relentless, calling and asking if we have a VA loan, none of their business, they never identify themselves. Last night we got about 3 calls and they were rude and persistant when I told them not to call anymore, we are not interested. The person on the other end did not seem to understand and kept talking. I would like to get a trace on them and have the authorities stop them from their harassing calls. I am going to start recording their calls and find out who can help us.

I have no known connection with that name

Answering machine fielded it and got "6.99 percent.  Again this is your last opportunity to get your rates reduced."

DoNotCall registry seems to be ignored by too many telemarketers.  If you're like me and have filled up your allotted *60 call block list, just let an answering machine screen for any caller ID you don't know.

Got a call this afternoon, Andy from card services, same garbage about last chance to lower interest rates.
Caller ID was universal manag  I'm sure I have reported 30-40 of these calls so far, doesn't seem to do much good.

These people get around -- mine was supposedly for a free cruise to the bahamas,  although caller ID did identify it as Universal Management as other above have noted

They called and din't leave a message.  Caller ID said Universal Manag.  A immediate callbacksaid the number was not in service.  Gee..... you don't think this could be some scammers spoofing do you?

The disconnected number was most probably leased to telecrappers in a call center(boiler room), and the telecrappers continued calling with this number. So they are spoofing their old numbers?

my credit card payment  is past due  and it will be cancelled if not paid now

I got a call from this number this afternoon, and I rejected it, so it went to voice mail. I appreciate all your posts saying that they call back. So I put it on my T Mobile "not allowed" list - they let you have 10 numbers that can't reach you.

Got a call last evening.  Let the answering machine pick up.
Caller Id was Kent WA  Message was: Call back, your file will be closed shortly and then the standard press one key to talk to a rep and press another key to remove number from call list.

I blocked my caller id and called their number and received a recording stating the number is not in use.

I shall block their number for future call attempts..

a recording that says "since you have made all of your payments on time, we can lower your credit card bills. please press 9 to speak to a rep, press the 3 key to be removed. thank you and goodbye."

Did not pick up on this call since I did not recognize caller identified as "Kent WA".  No message left so I assume not legitimate.

My telephone number belongs to me, not some idiot in Kent, WA.  They need to stop calling.  I am not going to answer because I do not know anyone in Kent, WA., or Washington, period. Why doesn't the DO NOT Call Registry stop this, again, IDIOT from calling and bothering people.

This call was made to my mother, and I happened to be there listening.  When I heard something about lower interest rates, I told her to hang up.  She is getting multiple calls from such telemarketers from different numbers, in spite of the fact that we have registered her telephones with the National and Florida Do Not Call registries.  Is there any way to get these calls to stop?  The registry doesn't appear to work.

Received call from this number--no one there.  I called the number back and it states that the number is no longer in service.

I am constantly getting calls from this number they never leave a message and I work shift work. They usually call when I am trying to sleep.  How do you make it stop!  I am registered with the Do Not Call Registery

Someone from this number is always calling and the do not leave a message.  I have even picked it up and no one was on the line.   I tried to call it back, either busy or says not in service for incoming calls

I don't answer my home phone, it isn't worth it. The do not call list was probably hacked by a scammer years ago. It would explain a lot. LOL

Whatever, it couldn't have been that important. No message wasleft.
