This number keeps calling me with a recorded message regarding my credit card account and an offer to lower the interest rate.  I get this call at least twice each month and it has nothing to do with any of my credit cards.  When you push 1 to speak to an operator, which I did to tell them to quit calling me, you get a double ring and an hangup.

Same deal as Soldier except I did get through to a woman asking for personal information including card Numbers.    She hanged the phone up, as soon as I asked what the name of her company was.

Just got their call and did again speak to a live operator. I have received at least a dozen calls form them and most of the time pressing 1 dose lead to a hang up. I have gotten through 3 time now and have told them to put me on their do not call list. Obviously this dose no good.

I get this call repeatedly, usually when I'm not home.  Message left on the answering machine sounds like the beginning of the message is chopped off.  Doesn't say what company is calling, only something about this regards your "account" and this is the last notification about your interest rate.

Reporting these people does nothing. It is a toothless law and these scammers know it. The government could give a rats ass if someone tries to get your info by saying they are with your "current credit card". I have found reporting it is a huge waste of time.

Same as everyone else.  Lower rates....last time they will call with this offer...etc.  Yeah, right!  When msg is left on my answering machine, it, too, is cut off. I tried to push to talk and when I tried to tell them I was on the do not call list and to please stop calling, they hung up very quickly.  but it's not stopped the calls.

Several times a week I get a "robo-call" offering to reduce my credit card rates.  I've even tried selecting "1" to speak to someone to tell them to stop calling me, but I'm never connected to a person.

Just got a call from these blisters. I stayed on the line after pressing 1 and was connected to "Craig". I asked repeatedly WHAT is the name of your company and was told our company is named "Card Services". "We go about getting you a lower interest rate". I told old Craig-y boy that he was in breach of the National Do Not Call List and he insisted "Oh no ma'am we're not. We are not trying to sell anything". (Read we just want to steal your information).
Considering I don't carry a balance on my ONE credit card, I'd like to see them beat my "0" APR.

Received call from 253-246-8528.  Caller ID: Card Services.  I thought credit card companies are not allowed to give away our telephone numbers to telemarketers.

DO you get the line about the call being recorded after you push 1 to talk to someone. I think they did that to try and intimidate people like me that will always push 1 to tell them that they aren't anything but scamming MF's and what they can do. I don't care what kind of language I use since they are violating the do not call list. And yes I do report them too.  If everybody would do this then maybe they would get tired of trying to rip us off.

This has been going on for years. I so hate these people. I do clicked #1 for a live operator and shouted something rude as loudly as I possibly could. I hope the guy's ear hurts real bad.

This is the same message that I received on voice mail today.  I just updated my "do not call" registration, and will report this annoyance.

"Card Services" rotates what number they show on caller ID. None of them is valid. Reporting them has not done anything, but I still do it. Cursing them out also does not stop them. What I do now is two things - since the government complaint form has a 'comments' section, I ask them how come they are are too incompetnet to stop this. Thesecond thing is I have a nice very lowud distress whistle that I keep by the phone. I am sure the card services caller hears if very well.

This just came out today let's see if it does any good.
"Telemarketers may now have a harder time interrupting unsuspecting consumers with automated calls during dinner time as the FCC has put forth rules that will require them to get written consent. Under the proposed rules, telemarketers will only able to place "robocalls" to consumers who have agreed in writing to receive these calls.

The FCC said that companies won't be able to simply say they have a relationship with a consumer as a way to justify the automated calls.

"Consumers have complained to us by the thousands about annoying robocalls," said FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski during the agency's monthly open meeting.

Specifically, the new rules will apply mainly to telemarketers representing banks, insurance agencies, and traditional service providers who were able to continue robocalling by leveraging loopholes in the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call Registry.

To close those loopholes, the FCC is requiring that all robocalls will include an automated opt-out option that tells telemarketers they don't want to receive any more calls.

However, the rules won't apply to charities, political campaigns, schools providing school closing information, and pharmacies sending prescription refill reminders."
