Caller ID says "Restricted" - I did not answer - they left no message

I received a call - answered my phone - message says "please wait for the next available rep" (I usually hang up at this point-but waited) woman comes on and says "this is Vicki, how can I help you?" I answer her with a "I don't know ...you called me" and she immediately hung up :( tried to call the number back and it doesn't go through just a fast busy signal

Left 26 seconds of dead air on my voicemail.  I have been getting debt collectors, charities, save money on credit cards, etc.

This number belongs to Commonwealth Financial Systems Debt Collectors. More bottom feeders in the junk debt pool trying to collect a debt that is out of statute, and that only a fool would attempt to pay under the delusion that it would make a difference on their credit report.

After receiving a call from this restricted phone, it turns out to be Commonwealth Financial Systems Debt Collectors. They were asking some someone I had never heard of and then began to ask personal questions about me which I decline to answer. The phone called ended suddenly after a few minutes in getting no where.  I called back and also received a fast busy signal.

Idiots keep calling a company cell phone, never leaving a message. I add them to the reject call list and they will call using another number. One time I did answer the call and they asked for a Hispanic man, when I told them that this was a company cell phone and that no one by that name was employed by this company and that we have had this number for quite a few years they started getting ignorant with me. At this point I ended the call. They call every day, sometimes 2 to 3 times, how stupid can they be!

Call twice a day.    By the time my answering machine picks up,  an automated message is already playing and it is in Spanish.  I'll need more information for me to reply.

Received a call from them the beginning of this month. When they originally called me they said I owed them money for a doctor's office that is not even around here. They wanted to verify what my info was and I refused. Looking up the number tells me that they are Commonwealth Financial and have been flagged as a fraudulent collection agency!!
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. They called me today and this is the first time since March 2nd. Do not agree to anything at all. I wouldn't even give them any info as they didn't have my info correct.

caller id read auburn,wa....it rang twice and then stopped....i'm so tired of bottomfeeders..... love that i can call block on my phone, but i'm only allowed 12....at this rate i'll need 1200!!

Well, considering what you just described, I'd say they can be pretty incredibly stupid! LOL!!! And, you know what they say--you just can't cure stupid!! That saying must have been made with them in mind, don't you think?!! 😁

Scammers and idiots never cease to amaze me with their tremendously moronic stupidity!!

I can't tell you just how much I appreciate this website!! It saves me a whole lot of time!  Whenever I receive a call from a number I don't recognize, I don't answer, and then I "Google" the phone number.  I ALWAYS know that if this website comes up first I probably just ignored a call from some idiot scammer or something like that!

Unrecognized CID.  No VM.  BLOCKED.

They call everyday from a different number.  My 'block list' with the 'silent' ringtone is endless.  Keep calling.  It is my distinct pleasure to add them to my list.  BTW, unknown calls with phishy numbers are NEVER answered.
