Answered call, shows as unknown, and the caller disconnected

Sixth new scam call today. ID says out of area, which always means scam call. I have never had this many new numbers in one day. All have been blocked but then the phone rings and it is another new number that rings and never leaves a message.

# came in as a much longer 14-digit number, two 7-digit numbers separated by a colon. I scrolled on my phone to the right and this number showed up. Have no idea what that was but was the second call received like that from same number and I didn't answer.

This was a surveyor asking questions about my city government and its grading as I see its operation/effectiveness and personnel. No questions were out of line

These folks are violating federal law. This is why they hide their identity, refuse to stop calling and have no way to opt out. All three of these are violations of the TCPA. Bruce might work for them. He seems to be posting all over the place with the same post.

I figure these folks are committing illegal acts. These folks are just scumbag scammers.

Called the number back just out of morbid curiosity.  A recording came on to say they are conducting surveys and these surveys are blah blah very important and our country's leaders (the good US of A doesn't have any leaders worth spitting on) blah blah pay attention to these surveys blah blah and we should participate blah blah whenever we blah can so that our blah blah voices can be heard blah.

I keep getting calls from 253-292-3692 but they never leave a message. Scam call, don't answer.

Caller started with "Issues in Washington State"...  then we hung up with a "no thanks"...
