This was an IRS scam call.

Robo call instructing to call this number.  Who is it?

Just got a call from 253-336-4185. This is what happened: I answered because I thought it was an expected call and I didn't check the caller ID. The person on the other end hung up on me. I'm not having a great day so this was extra annoying to me so I actually called the number back. I couldn't understand the company name he mentioned when he answered due to his heavy accent. I asked why I had been called. He then looked up my info, knew my name and address. The next words out of his mouth were, "We are calling to get your lawyer's name and number." I said in a big sarcastic voice, "Lawyer, oh yeah, this should be a good one (meaning scam). Why do I need a lawyer?" I was sort of laughing at him. And then he mock laughed back at me, trying to humiliate me and said that he had decided that he wouldn't tell me why I need a lawyer. And, of course, more with the mock laughing. I said, "You sound like a really mature person and this sure sounds like a legit call," being sarcastic again, and then finished it off with, "Have a good day, scammer!" and then I hung up. So badly done. They need to take lessons from the "microsoft windows" scammers. They keep talking and trying to convince you until you hang up on them. At least they present a more professional scam. Probably an IRS scam.

Called us and said we owed $3700 back taxes from 2008-2012 and demanded the money over the phone.  Even asked how much we could afford to pay today.

Haven't answered,  but call all the time. Will be blocking this number from my phone

Scam IRS call harassing people.

Just received a call today from this number so I answered. It was a recording saying it was the IRS filing  a lawsuit against me to call back this number as soon as possible and then hung up.  So I called back and a lady with a middle eastern accent answered the phone saying,  this is so so from the IRS.  And I said I just got a call from this number asking me to return a phone call. She ask me for my full name. So I gave it to her and said she would pull my file.  So she got back on the phone asking me what my first and last name is again.  So I asked myself if she already pulled my file why is she asking for first and last name again. So I dutifully gave it to her again.  Then she asked me to verify my address so I asked her how do I know this is the IRS.  She said she will identify who she is as soon as I verify all my information.  I said no and told her to mail the documents to me instead and I hung up.
