claimed something about coupons and the seattle times
seems fishy

Called me and claimed to be from the Seattle Times. He also new my address and asked me about coupons as such. I was half a sleep so I really didn't feel it was a threat cause, he said he was from the "Seattle Times". But still very wiered, I sure won't answer the phone when I am sleeping anymore..

Same thing about the Seattle Times Coupons.  Knew my address.  I told them I didn't want the coupons and they hung up on me. I tried calling back and it wouldn't go through.

This number has been calling my cell EVERY day for past wk at 9am...with today's exception of calling at 8:30a. So seriously.....if I havent answered the first few times....which if I dont know whom you are and you won't leave a message means I WON'T answer!!!  I don't want their paper nor their coupon offer they are pitching,,,,!!!

They have called me today three times in less than an hour. Leave no message or answer when I answer.

Seriously?  It's the Seattle Times? Or someone selling junk on their behalf, most likely.  I got a call just a minute ago and didn't answer it.  All the Caller ID said was TACOMA, WA.

How do we stop these annoying calls? I have blocked it on my phone, but it flashes as a missed call. I get called 4 times an hour. I did answer the call one time, but there is no recorded message. The call disconnects.

Ok, here is a solution! Call your wireless carrier and they can totally block the number. This way no voice mail or text message. The call does not go through.

They called this morning at 8:21 am. I didn't answer but after reading the above posts about coupons it reminded me that there is a new offer that I saw in the paper. You can just have the ads and coupons delivered on Sundays. It may be a legit call just a little annoying.

11 calls waiting when I got home today. No messages. Three more since with silence. Since I have kids in the " TACOMA,WA" ID I was concerned one was in trouble. None were even at work. sick, sick, sick of these types of calls.

They called multiple times today....when we finally answered, they said they were from The Olympian...offering free coupons to be delivered on Sundays then asked if they could have our email for other offers....we refused.

Phone rang, I answered what I consider nicely.   No response on the other end.  Called ID said "Unavailable".

Harassing my elderly mother and scaring her. Multiple calls a day.

Been getting calls from this number for the last 3 days straight. No message left. It's now on my blocked caller list.

Called 3 times on one day but never left a message. Called the next day and said it was the Tacoma News Tribune wih a special offer. Did not sound like they actually worked there. I asked them to never call on my cell phone.

Today they have called twice.

Got a call from this number yesterday at around 6:15 p.m. - I was away from the phone but I wouldn't have heard it ring as I keep the ringer off just so I'm not bothered by the idiot fake collection agencies, scammers, and all of this marketing/advertising crap (I hate advertising and marketing ads whether by phone, mail, on TV, on the internet, on billboards, etc.) - can you tell I had all advertising - I have a brain - if I want coupons, I know where to go get them.  Of course, it went to voice mail and they left no message.  Can't wait for them to call again and me actually have the ringer on - their ears will burn with my words searing through the wires and their ears will bleed from being seared by my words.

Caller ID says Tacoma, WA and nothing else.

Called me once a couple weeks ago, I answered and I said "Hello" twice before I hung up (not to mention waiting for a couple of seconds for a response). Right when I hung up a girl's voice came on but I didn't hear what she said so I was like "Whatever. She will call back if it was important." She never called back.

Fast forward a couple weeks to today. This number pops up again, once at around 11 AM when I was feeding my two week old daughter. I let it go to voicemail because I had no free hands to answer. No voicemail was left. Just received another call tonight at around 5:15 PM, again no voicemail was left. My husband tried to call the number back, but the number was said to be inactive.

I put this number on my blocked caller's list on AT&T after the 5:15 call.
