Call ed ...noone there...very annoying.

male voice saying: "And peace (or piece) of mine".
That was the message left on my phone.
Not sure what it means, annoying

The did not leave a message....


But, When I call this number, I get a messages similar to "You have received a marketing call from a comercial entity, Thank you for calling back.  If you with to be removed from this entities call list, please press 1."  So I pressed 1....

Got a call from this number. I have a Tracfone LG800G (with triple minutes for life) so any number not in my phonebook, the phone blinks once and never rings. Plus i have never turned on my voice mail, why? I don't need it. When a call comes in, it records the number. It won't be a friend or family anyway. Best phone i ever owned. I wish i had it a few years ago when bill collectors were hot and heavy. Now i wish they would call but they stay away.

Voice mail ad  for Medical Alert System for seniors. Must be an AARP list?

Caller ID shows "senior center alameda"...interestingly enough:  NOT Medical Alert System, YES to the "...commercial entity...press 1...", and YES no one there.  I have a good phone system, too, but I have been calling around for senior information - so I went for it :(  Follow everyone elses suggestion and just block and/or don't anser this #.

Just received a call from this number (CID shows Tacoma, WA), no message left.  Very interesting to read Kathy's message above.  I am a "senior citizen" and had a knee replacement on Friday. OMG!  Scarey to think that I'm might be tracked so closely.

Received a call from "Senior Center Ale" according to caller ID.  I am not a senior, I have no connection to Alameda (if that is where it purports to be).  Afaik, Alameda is in California, not Washington like the area code.  There was no one there when I tried to answer.

Got one call from them. Didn't pick it up.

Had repeated calls from this number, but did not respond.

I received a call from this number and I think those so called reverse caller look-up services are randomly making these annoying calls in attempts to get people to acquire their services for a fee.  If you get hooked now you still continue to receive those annoying calls plus you'll be paying someone to tell you what you already know.  So my advice is forget about it, if you don't recognize the number just simply don't answer it.

These are the same scammers that call and claim to be from "credit card services", a home security company, etc.  They aren't selling anything.  They are just hoping you fall for their sucker spiel, and give them your credit card number.  Then they use your card number to run up huge bills on your account.  Call back and dial "1" to be removed from the call list, and all you have done is confirmed they have a live person on your number, and they will call you even more.

The phone number you see on caller ID is not their real number.  It is "spoofed" using intricate switching systems.  Their computer dials numbers in sequence.  They could care less if you are on the "do not call list".  Simply ignore the calls, do not answer, as annoying as they can be.

Somehow, the communucations industry has to make an effort to track down this scum and stop them.

Caller ID: Senior Care Ale

Based on the area code 253, I already knew this was some type of scam call. I have gotten calls from the same area code selling home security systems and credit card services. I do not answer the calls and they never leave messages. I am willing to bet these calls are not actually coming from Washington, but from overseas.

I wish they'd go away.  I wish the "no call list" actually worked.

Scam call in violation of California PUC law and Federal Do Not Call lists. Seems our government representative are good at passing laws but do nothing about enforcing those same laws. Wish they would either not bother passing laws they have no intention of enforcing or putting some bite in the laws and ensure they are enforced.

Did not answer phone thanks to caller id.  They left no message.

Received two calls within minutes from this phone number (253-382-9006).  No VM left.
