Always call late night, and never leave a message. Ass!

Called 7:02 pm Monday. Picked up and recorded pitch started regarding restructuring your home loan at no charge. Did not identify who they were. I hung up...

Called 3 times.  No-one to speak to and no message.  How can this be stopped?

They call at all hours of the day and night... It is very, very annoying.. My Father suffers from severe anxiety attacks since the death of my Mother, and each time the gets a phone call from these people, he gets very nervous and jumpy.. It has interrupted his sleep schedule and the quality of his life, so, I hope something can be done to silence these people. We too are on the national do not call list, however, we still get all sorts of very annoying phone calls. This has been going on all year, but, in the last 3 weeks, the number of calls has been overwhelming

http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm    This page is new to me, but the person who gave me the address says he doesn't get any more calls from the numbers he complains about.  I have only used it once to date, (I just got it) but I'll be reporting these people.  If enough complaints come in, maybe it will help.

Keep getting calls from this and other numbers.  I suggest we all talk to our local TV stations to see if they would do segment  on these types of scams and that being on the DNC means nothing.

Just go a call from 253-382-9083 and it said "Customer Support".  I didn't recognize the number so I switched on my fax machine.

Called me at 1:58...i didn't answer, although sometimes I answer and put the phone right in front of my tv speaker and let them listen to the news until they hang up.

I received a call from this number at 1:51 pm (CST) today. Knowing it would be a scam/spam call I answered it but they didn't speak nor hang up. After 10 seconds I did. Caller ID said TACOMA WA. If they call back I'll add it to my block list.

This number called back at 5:01 pm. This time their robot spoke and offered me the opportunity to switch my electricty provider away from ComEd. Now they go to my block list.

I received a call from this number at least three times a day for the last week. I never picked up because I didn't recognize the caller, as it said only, Tacoma Wa. However, yesterday when it called, I again ignored it and called back right after they hung up. A robot picked up and said, "Hello, thank you for calling back. You have received a call from a marketing (didn't hear the next line)  promotion, and at any time if you would like to be taken off the list, please press one, otherwise..." I didn't give it time to finish, I pressed the number one and they haven't called back since. The message never said who the marketing promotion was for, which is against the law.

Stu is right, as the complaint list mentioned above does work; however, the National Do Not call list is worth nothing, except to be able to report callers who ignore it and you do NOT have to know the callers' names.

I report all sorts of calls, because if you read the fine print, every one of these callers are breaking the law in some way - they are jsut hoping you won't think its worth your time to report them, or hoping you don't know enough about the law to report them.

Any caller who calls and says nothing, calls and hangs up, calls and uses a robot to ask you to call back, or any combination thereof,  is breaking the law and should be reported.  The caller name is not necessary. I have reported numerous callers for whom I do not know the name, and since reporting them to the above link, I have never heard from them again. Even if you don't know their name, the government can trace the number. and they do get fined.

I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST but keep getting calls from this number. Please get them to stop!

It's a telemarketer. I called back and got a voice mail saying to dial 1 to be added to their do not call list. The voice mail says it take 24 hours to be added. We'll see.....
