This same company calls my cell phone at least twice a week it seems like.  Wants to lower my interest rate.

Caller ID listed as Pacific Tel. Leaves no message.

When I ask what company she was calling from, she gave ma a quick BS name. When I asked for the direct line to call her company she said 1-800-kissmyass

I got a call from this number this morning at 10:20 am.  I was already on another important call so I did not answer (not that I ever answer calls from numbers I don't recognize).  Caller ID said "PACIFICTEL".  I have gotten several calls from different numbers with this caller ID.  Some of the other numbers are:

I just got the same call from PacificTel, 253-382-9901 @ 10:00am-pst, when I pushed #1 & a woman came on I asked "What's this about" she just hungup!

I just got the same call from Cardholder Services 253-382-9901 @11:00 am pst. I hung up.

I am constantly harassed by thees people, I have asked them to stop and they have ignored my request.

This number registers from Tacoma WA - I don't answer calls I don't know, or that are not properly identified. They have called my home day in and day out. I've taken to stopping the ringing by a quick answer then hang-up. Maybe then they'll give up when they find dead silence greeting them everytime.

When I connected to "cardmember services" and told them to remove me from the list, I was threatened, called a "punk" and told I'd never be able to find them and he'd make sure I was called for the rest of my life.

I saw this number on my caller id.  I returned the call with a message saying: "...if you wish to be put on the do not call list, please enter your number..." and I hung up.  Obviously they have my number so why respond. A word of caution to everyone:  Any number listed on your caller id you don't recognize, write it down and DELETE IT!  Never respond if a person starts talking or you receive any type of message from that number. You can Google it to find out it's source.  Taking these precautionary steps will help you NOT compromise your identity and other information.

What is this about?

got the call this A.M. with 2 options from Tacoma WA: to reduce my credit card interest rate by talking to live person; or leave a ph#. I hung up then called back just to see whats going. This time got a sole option to list my ph# on their do not call list. Just a weak attempt to get my ph#. I think a random ph# generator is used and they want to know which sucker called back.

My in-laws received a call this morning and were worried that it was a call regarding my daughter who is traveling in the Northwest.  Person said it was regarding an account that couldn't be verified.

Another call from "Credit Card Services". I have spoke with them. Get very rude comments and then a hang up. I have "pushed 3 to be removed from the calling list". This is very annoying.

Got another call from 253-382-9901 this morning at 9:30am HST.  Caller ID said "TACOMA WA".  When I answered a recoded message from "Cardmember Services" started talking fast.  I hung up and added the number to my block list for all the good it will do.  My number is on the DO NOT CALL list, but these people don't care.

First call an hour ago was just silence (their recording didn't play). Second call was the recording, caller ID was just 253-382-9901. I did not "push 3" nor tried calling back (in the past, my own number has been used as a bogus caller ID so as not to propagate any kind of "joe job"). Yes, my number (in Hawaii) is on the Do Not Call List. I don't know what those folks are trying to do.

Just got a call from 253-382-9901 with caller ID Tacoma WA. Pushed 3 to give them my wrath and the chick said nothing after I told her she just opened the gates to hell and she just hung up. Time to once again call my friend who works at a "special place" and find the location. Stay tune tuned!
