Claimed to be about a tax matter, didn't give name, said I would face arrest if I didn't call back, but is a mobile phone in Washington state.

Said his name was Ron Gabor and that there was a report of tax fraud against me and that I needed to call back before this matter when to court or I was arrested.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

We just received a call at home from this number also concerning a tax issue.  Caller identified himself to my wife as Major Milano.  She said he was very abrupt with her.  

I got the same exact message

Received 2 calls within a 2 hour period claiming fraud on my name.

Thank you, this has been very helpful. I reported the incident to the on-line form provided. I actually called the number back 2x and it was  the same guy. Sounded like Hindu. Was very brazen. Said police would be at my door in 30 minutes. A search of the number places it in Seattle Washington area.

I got the same thing. number 2534656024. Said he was a DC tax guy. Ron Gabor or similar. Said there was legal matter against my name.

I received same call from (253) 465-6024 last Wednesday 1/7/17 from Ron Gabor saying he was from the Legal Dept.of the IRS concerning a Legal Petition Notice against my name for tax fraud. He urged me to call asap before the claim went to the Fed. Claims Court House or I was arrested. I just heard the message today and Google it, I didn't call back. I wonder what's the intention of those calls.

Got same call on 1/6/2015 from 253-465-6024 as "ROP" described.  I did not call back after reading this blog.  Hope this guy Ron gets arrested

Got identical call as ROP describes.  Twice in one day (1/8/15).  I don't check home vmail much so this is the first I heard them.  Googled it since it sounds like a scam and found this and many other scam report sites.  NOTE:  In case nobody else is realizing it -- it is a computer generated voice on that call (it's not an actual human speaking into people's vmails).  It is meant to "sound" human but, I listened to it several times to confirm it is computer generated.  It's like a Stephen Hawking computer type voice, if you pay attention.  I hope someone arrests this idiot.
