Just got a fake IRS is going to sue me telephone messagel asking to report and call back. SCAM!!!

I've had two calls from these fools before 10:00 am.  One from Washington, DC - and one from Sumner, WA. Both were recordings of someone trying hard to sound official with an undercurrent of aggravation and urgency. Government SUE me???? Pleeeeeeease...!  Alert seniors you know. These scammers are more than a menace.

Two days in a row , first number was 202-864-1122 from Washington, D.C.  now today 253-470-0164 from sumner, WA . About to just disconnect service , this is getting to be a everyday thing!
I don't owe irs anything and how did they get my information ! Was iRS hacked!

Robot call. Final warning, IRS is going to sue ... for ???

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Have received numerous voicemails stating the IRS is filing a lawsuit...against us.  When you call the number back...as per their request...while blocking your #, it rings then disconnects,  They use several #s.

          I was going thru my caller id & voice messages this afternoon, first, I had 3 calls on my voice mail from (202) 864-1122 - Washington, DC, but when I returned that call first, no one ever came on the phone & then I called this other egghead's # next.

         I called (253) 470-0164 - Sumner, WA, back being unaware of what it was for, when I finally got an answer, the foreign-speaking man said that he was the Internal Revenue Service & wanted my phone #, I wouldn't give him my number, I said that originally they had called me (which by the way the IRS does NOT do, they mail notices) what issues was he calling people about, HE then said "how dumb do you think I am" & he proceeded to say F----er, over & over (I guess I wore out his patience, lol). I have a cell phone w/ FREE long-distance, so guess they are at my mercy, while I call & redial numerous times to clog up their lines, lol, I suggest that you do also, if you have FREE long-distance to call them numerous times over & over & also let them know that they need to get an honest job or get the hell out of our country! I just did NUMEROUS times & it felt good after what the scum said.

Received a call from the "IRS" at 6:45 a.m. today. Law suit being filled. Blah, blah, blah. We also had four (!) other calls today on the same subject from a different 202 number.

Same here, they call many times a day! Very annoying!

Fake IRS call

These people "from" Washington don't give up.  I've had 5 "Vancouver WA" calls today (Fake IRS recording saying the IRS is about to file a lawsuit against me.  Yeah, right!).  And the last one I just got said "Sumner WA"  (same thing--fake IRS scam).

Receiving same message from different numbers claiming to be the IRS.  Totally bogus!

From the I R S  calling about a lawsuit against me leave a number to call 253-470-0164 and 202-864-1311  called the number back and it is always busy.

Do not call the number back. This is a scam. See CWG40's and my posts on page 1..

** Last year they called everyday in October, it was a guy with a thick accent and he said IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and I owe $30,000 ..........Hahaha LOL
** A year later, they started calling me again at 7am. First call came in from 202-864-1311, then a minute later another call from 253-470-0164. .........This year apparently I owe so much $$$ + penalty, and the scumbag said if I didn't call back immediately the IRS will come by house to arrest me at 5:00Pm........LMAO!!

I do not owe a penny to IRS and have always filed my tax on time.
